Fox Run Training

Fox run has been a great place for us to take lessons and board our horse. Nicole is a wonderful instructor. She is a great combination of fun while staying safe and still teaching correct horsemanship.I have an older horse with some specific needs and I love having a place that cares about his happiness and doesn’t think of him as just another horse. They work hard at making sure horses in turn outs are good matches and that no one is bullied. They also don’t nickel and dime you for basic horse care like blanketing, holding for vets/farriers and electricity for fans. They feed a proper amount of hay for your horse, and use a decent amount of shavings.

Disappointed, terrible communication. Called regarding lessons & never heard back, so I drove there to speak to someone in person. Nicole (owner) was very nice, showed us some horses, let us know how she runs the barn. School was starting back up in a few & so she was redoing the schedule & had some other people looking to get on the schedule as well. However we discussed how the lessons would go as my girls are at different levels; I was left with the impression she was optimistic to get them on the schedule. We discussed me calling her on 8/25 IF I had not heard from her by then. 8/25 rolls around & I had not, so I reached out with text messages on 8/26, 29, 30 & 31, & calls along with the text messages the last 3 as I preferred not to leave a voicemail in case it was overlooked. Still nothing until I texted again on 9/3 expressing my disappointment & letting her know I would be leaving a review where appropriate. She said she tried calling on 8/31 (a week later & after multiple attempts trying to contact) & left a voicemail. I have no missed call OR voicemail(even checked deleted VMs just in case). Terrible communication from the start, very disappointed.Edited to add: it looks like a lack of communication is a common theme; once someone leaves a bad review she finally gets back to them & the review is edited. She only responded to me after I let her know I’d be leaving a review of my experience & proceeded to, what I can assume based on lack of proof to her claim, that she lied to make herself look better & dissuade me from writing my experience. If you’re looking for someone with great communication that respects your time, this is not your place.

I love Fox Run Training!! My horse is doing amazing under Nicole's care!! I never have to worry about leaving for vacation because all the boarders look out for everyone's horse! Great care!! Excellent area!!

EDIT: My phone call was finally returned, and my review replied to. It turns out my daughter is too young to take classes here; we will keep Fox Run in mind for the future.Over the course of a week, I left a voice mail and two facebook messages (that I know were read) in an effort to sign my daughter up for riding lessons. No response.Are they out of business? Or just unprofessional? Why would you ignore someone trying to give you money?Very disappointing. We live around the corner and have been waiting for our daughter to be old enough to take her first lessons here.

Gorgeous place, such a great escape. Quiet, serene, peaceful time with beautiful horses.

A welcoming, fun, and friendly barn. Have had nothing but a positive experience here.

I have been trying to get in for 4 months now, but I never got a call back or even a text. I understand that Fox Run is busy, but I didn't expect it to be this busy.Edit: They finally got back and said they don't have any more spots but will let me know when one is open! But I am going to hand them my waivers soon. Can't wait to start! :D
