If you live the sound of birds this is a great place to visit. They can be quite vocal at times but it definitely gives you the feeling of being in nature

Such a beautiful place sadly it was too wet to make it all the way around when we went, would definitely go back when it's drier.

It was the off season and there were not that many birds. Some geese and chickadees. We did have a couple birds eating from our hands. A nice spot.

Great trails, and tons of wildlife everywhere you look. The trails are kid friendly so bring the whole family. Lots of free parking and a campground too boot.

Nice place. They have lots of trails. It is a treat for all the birds lovers. Too bad we could not take our puppy dog on these trails. As per the office, dogs would distract bird watchers and birds.

This place looks like it might have been great 30 years ago, but it was a huge disappointment. The trails are a series of dead ends, mud holes, overgrown tracks that offer nothing but bush and only one boardwalk is still in use, though it is nice. The others are rotting away and off-limits.The person in the interpretation centre" was confused when we asked about the best spot to see birds

We absolutely loved this campground!...quiet, peaceful, with large lush spots and many trails to hike ..Bathrooms are spotless and the sounds of birds are beautiful!

This is a popular destination. It has four marked trails, but one of them (Heron) is mostly closed, and the boardwalk on the north loop of Cedar trail is closed. Maintenance is ongoing. The environment varies from open marsh to dense cedar forest. There's a fair amount of wildlife, including (not surprisingly) birds, and we saw fresh deer tracks. There's a good staffed visitor centre with washrooms, and an outhouse about half way through (on maple trail).
