Awesome spot! Partner and I stopped in while on a winter vacation. The owner is very informative and delightful conversationalist. Had a great chat. Were shown exceptional pieces! A great place to shop and the customer service is awesome! Definitely a spot to see if you are in the area. Thank you for the hospitality. An amazing little bookstore devoted to Maritime theme. Really love the historical books and field guides that are specific to the provinces. Must visit for table top books

Largest collection of Atlantic Canada literature I've ever seen!It's wonderful to see our local authors, publishers and stories so well represented!A nice selection of works by local artisans is on display as well.Friendly, talkative, well-read owner.Conveniently located in Historic Properties.

What a great place to just wander through!Atlantic high quality products that make wonderful keepsakes or gifts.One of the largest collections of high quality books from Atlantic Canada!The Puffin Gallery just across the hall has incredible art works created by local artists.The staff are kind well informed sales people.It's the type of store you go in for a quirk view and spend a long time slowly moving around the store browsing all the incredible items.Upon leaving you notice the Puffin Gallery!....and the quick look browsing begins again......

Amazing shop full of fun local treasures. I found myself going back to this shop multiple times on my trip to chat with the lovely employee and owner as they both were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable on all things East coast :) I made sure to pick up some amazing locally made art and trinkets for my family at home that they are sure to love as they are not your conventional souvenir but instead perfectly capture the wonderful vibes of Halifax!
