My husband's burger was dry, a bit overdone. Our server was great, very pleasant and easy going. We figure she was the only person in there working at the time. We waited over 45 minutes for our burger and egg salad sandwich. I realize the situation and she definitely made it another easier for us to deal with. Good luck to her.

Got takeout of fish 'n' chips and a burger. The fish was nice and crispy, but a tad on the dry side. My side salad was very fresh. I wasn't a big fan of the coleslaw though and would have preferred some tartar sauce instead. The burger was very good! The meat was perfectly cooked. If anything it could have used a bit more seasoning. The fries were quite good as well. We also had a couple of milkshakes that were very tasty! Overall, it was a good meal! We will definitely order from here again and will hopefully be able to have a fresh dine in meal in the future.Ordered delivery and they had a really hard time finding my house the first time, but they handled the situation very well. Have had a few pizzas delivered since then and they had no issues. The pizzas were great too!

Cannot say enough about this clean and friendly diner. Fresh homemade food with soup and salad bar for lunch. Very reasonable pricing especially during these times. You have to go! We were driving through and are so glad we stopped in.

2 of us went to the Boomtown Diner for lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu was typical diner food, sandwiches, burgers etc. We ordered beef noodle soup, western sandwich and the daily special sandwich which was beef and cheddar on a bun. The food was good. I believe the soup was made from scratch and the beef on a bun had nice sliced roast beef and real cheddar cheese.The entire place was very clean including the bathrooms which were equipped with hands-free soap, sink and paper towel dispensers.Our meal was reasonably priced at $23.73 including a pop and a coffee.

Went for the first time while in Bothwell for work and it was amazing!They had a special for a 1/2 quesadilla and potato skin chips, absolutely amazing and delicious. Got it pretty fast too. Will definitely go again!

We used to go there every second week or so but they would always forget something. So a year later we decided to try again and guess what they forgot the gravy that we paid for. Food is OK but expensive. Might just go another year.

My buddy and I (from London) went to the Boomtown for lunch today and were delighted with our choice.Server Brittany was great...efficient and pleasant.The food was excellent. Buddy had a special of the day while I had the hot beef with a side of perogies and the salad.Serve-time was very good and food was hot and good.I would recommend this location to anyone and expect to return soon.

I used to come to this restaurant all the time as a kid 25+ years ago with my grandparents. Was in town with my children and thought I would take them here. There is a new owner now.. but the lady that was working was extremely friendly, the food was great and prices we good too, and loved that they left a plaque in memory of the previous restaurant (Irene's) was a great little trip down memory lane!

Chicken is delicious as always, when ordering extra coleslaw we don't get the extra it's usually gravy, other than that it's always cooked right. The staff are always friendly!!
