Used to love going to the location as a kid, was a great spot to enjoy railroad history, but I recently heard that a change in management has destroyed much of the original nostalgic components of the Museum, including the miniature ride on train. I'm quite saddened after I heard it was sold for scrap value and now is lost to history, especially since my grandfather was quite close with the maker, Barry Maloney, who used to run it in Alberton PEI... Before Covid I would've recommended this place to everyone and anyone, but now I lost a lot of respect especially since a family treasure is now lost :(

A nice mix of educational and interesting for kids. Definitely a great stop for train enthusiasts. There are three buildings to go through and learn about the history of trains on PEI, and then a little train ride to take as well. There's a model town and train set as well.The space is quite beautiful and has a playground and access to the trails. When I was there, it was full of blooming wild roses.It was also during Covid 19 that I visited, and they had really well laid out arrows and a route to safety take.The space seems quite wheelchair friendly with a ramp and accessible spaces as well.

We stopped by here to unload the bikes and take a scenic drive on the Confederation trail. The location was very clean and well kept. lots of parking. It also has a park for the children to play and have fun.

This is a great place to bring small children. My 2 year old wanted to ride the train over and over. It's a beautiful little ride through the woods.

Great little museum - perfect for short attention spans. Just enough information to take in on an afternoon visit. Topped off our visit with some time at the playground and the coolest little train ride for the whole family. We loved it!
