I went to this school from grade five to grade seven. I had a great time and was often ingaged when learning. I only realized how good the school was after I left and got a worse experience at another school. Class sizes are great and teacher really care about the students.

A friend of mine with three children just moved to the St John’s area and I imagine the school is fairly close to all who live in St John’s. I’m encouraging him to enroll his children into your Steiner/Waldorf school because my own daughter went to a Waldorf school, the East Bay Waldorf school in El Sobrante, California K -12. The Waldorf curriculum is a wonderful one, and fortunately now in many of the states there are now public, non private Waldorf schools too.

Nothing like a real private school, classes are too small and not much social interaction, had the longest year here to be honest. Was not impressed. This school does not give you any choices, you have to always do what they say, there is no student interaction. If you want your kids to make lots of friends, and learn in an environment where they will not fall asleep half way through the year, then this is not the place. And it also needs some serious renovations. This was a waste of a year in my opinion.

I went to Lakecrest as a student for 10 years. So did my older brother. It's been 2 years since my family left the Lakecrest community. I absolutely loved the whole school community and how everyone felt like a family. The school community is so welcoming and I miss that about going to Lakecrest. One of the things I miss most, is how kind the teachers are. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my ten years in any other school.

I love how everybody knows each other the next day they come in for class. Even if your new, you'll fit in just fine. It makes you feel like family. As the grades progress, sure the curriculum is harder, but you get to do more and more fun stuff. It's like they trust you The school takes lots of initiative in field trips and technology and is an awesome school all around. I hope I get to stay in this school for the rest of my junior high years and I hope this place will still exist for years to come
