The absolute best and most authentic middle eastern food around. Fresh made to order. Hands down best falafel and only place I’ve been that is made to order. The staff is extremely friendly and if you’re not sure what to get just ask they have great recommendations. 10/10 can’t go wrong!!

SUCH A HIDDEN GEM! family owned, and as someone who lived in the middle East, their garlic dip is the only one in Sudbury that actually tastes authentically middle Eastern. Right down the street from osmows, definitely a must visit if you're into authentic Syrian or middle Eastern food. And the gentlemen were super nice and friendly, and actually provide customer service! easiest recommendation ever.

Our search for the best Shawarma in town culminated here. By far more than the others, they serve you the freshest food (you can clearly feel the difference) and that too at a very good price. Good service is guaranteed and the family is really humble. I am not going anywhere else if I have an urge to eat Shawarma in Sudbury....

Damascus Shawarma's Chicken Shawarma on Rice is an absolute delight! Juicy chicken, fragrant rice, fresh veggies, and a knockout garlic sauce combine into a flavor-packed dish. Portion size is generous and the service warm and welcoming. This gem in Sudbury is a must-visit - their Shawarma on Rice is simply unforgettable!

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing. Although pretty disappointed with the family of 5 wrap order. Says it comes with fries for a family of 5. Pretty sure you get more fries when your order a single wrap. The chicken wrap is amazing, that's just not enough fries for 5. Order a second order of fries if your doing a family of 5 wrap order. Cheers.

I’m really disappointed with the experience at this restaurant.I went there and ordered falafel plate which comes with veggies and rice that costs about 17$, and my colleague ordered chicken shawarma which is about the same cost, the falafel was saggy and kind of not fried very well, my colleague complained about the chicken is blank taste or tasteless, moreover they gave very little amount of veggies with the plate, also not enough rice for the cost. It’s overpriced honestly, I was still hungry after I finished my plate, my colleague was hungry too. We ended up by snacking a lot more after that dinner. I don’t think I’ll return back anymore.

I just had the shawarma rice platter and chicken shawarma. Both were delicious and nice portions especially the platter I was struggling to finish it. The owners are very hospitable and I ended up buying the baklava and basbousa( never tried basbousa before) for dessert as well. Make sure to to buy the desserts they're also made in house and I was blown away. Would definitely stop by here again!

I’ve eaten here twice. The food has always been impeccable. The service is always genuine and relatively quick for the made-to-order food.The pickled veggies are awesome texture and flavour added to the shawarma. The baklava is an awesome change of dessert options for Canadians looking to get a taste of something different.The family that operates Damascus is known for giving back to the Sudbury community and is deeply representative of what Canadian values should be.
