Very bad experience:1) No receptionist to help in letting advisor's know about clients coming in.2) the advisor had no idea about the appointment3) advisor's knowledge about products and offering was close to zero (it is senior financial advisor)4) advisor was not able to explain how Scotiabank charges fees or when interest would be deposited.5) advisor made me feel like they were doing me a favor by holding my money.6) advisor was rude and unprofessional.7) advisor asked me for their rating (leaving Scotiabank aside) and when I gave (7/10); they argued.8) advisor was not very happy with how Scotiabank operated (which we both can agree on).

Financial Advisors are there to provide you advise and notify you of any fees and penalties. I went to my SENIOR financial advisor for renewal of my mortgage and asked if there was any penalties. She confirmed no there would not be. In the end, I was faced with $2400 penalty. The Branch Manager admitted she misinformed me but would not take accountability for her staff's mistake. I had to escalate to the President's Office who agreed that this was a TRAINING issue and agreed to reimburse the entire penalty amount. I fought because I am in the industry. I can't imagine how many people they are taking advantage of because their mistakes - they are not experience to handle your future.

I have been a Scotiabank customer at this location for almost 2 years. It is always a pleasure working with the branch staff with my financial needs. Thank you to Bunmi and Shannon, and honourable mentions to the brief interactions with the tellers pre-covid. I recommend this branch location for anyone who is new or existing to the Milton area.

Bank closes at 5pm, i reached there at 4:55pm to deposit a cheque. Few customers were in the branch with more than 5 employees but they locked the door. I was knocking but no one purposely looked at me so they have to open the door and serve. Customer. Poor customer service.

I've been a client for 2 years and thats all I could take, messed up investments, payments, you name it! Not to mention the worst hours and very poor management. Good riddance.

Horrible experience in this bank rude antisocial people went here on a Monday at 4:50 the bank closes at 5 was walking in they only had one other person in and right as I got to the door opening what I could only describe as a Karen came running from behind the desk to lock me out the full time vigorously shaking her head tried explaining I only had one cheque she wouldn’t have none of it didn’t even talk to me just turned around and walked away

Honestly AMAZING customer service. Thanks Shannon Li, Johnathan, and honestly were so kind. There was a lady at the side desk upon entry with braids and she matched with her other co-worker, she was superrr kind too. This branch made me feel like family haha, super friendly... Unlike the other Scotiabank at Main Street. Thank you for assisting me with opening my account.

I have been a customer of Scotia Bank in Milton for over 40 years. Sold our car to a dealership who went with us in person to their bank TD Main Street. The Manager there gave us a certified cheque for the proceeds of our vehicle. I took the certified cheque to Scotia Bank for deposit and they placed a 5 day hold on the certified cheque. Pretty frustrating experience.
