Le Nordet

First off-it is a unique family owned inn with excellent views of the ocean and lots of activities do in the area. It is quiet also and reasonable. We spent 1 night in the one of the Eco renovated rooms. The downside: no potable water from the tap (This should be mentioned on the website and on the booking site) so you get to pump bottled water for drinking. Mattress could be refreshed as well. There is a breakfast, but I suggest guesting ask detailed questions about what is exactly available for food at this inn and what the hours are. The website doesn't explain this very well. Lastly, for the late check out option, the time is not listed on the booking site-one has to dig into the policies on the website to find it. Even the staff didn't know the answer.

Got an old room. Stinky and so ugly it’s borderline creepy. No potable water. Small spring mattress from the 60’s. Wifi provided but the room is too far to get it. A bed with two wooden chairs. You really don’t want to spend anytime here.Nice sunset view from the room and the bed sheets seemed clean.

Clean and fresh, almost everything is made of wood which I liked a lot. Nice set up and comfy bed. Excellent communication with Laurence. Peaceful area, the neighbours are very quiet and respectful. Exactly what I was looking for! Highly recommend and would totally come back again.

Stayed in their new rooms. Nice bathroom and nice room. The bed is a double bed which is small for a couple. No drinking water but the hotel provided a massive 18L bottle with a pump. No take out food or restaurants any where close. The room has a fridge , microwave and we asked for a coffee machine so they provided a keurig. We did after hours check in and it went very smoothly.

The view was beautiful and the room was way more than we expected for the price. Lovely renovations and the room smelled wonderfully of cedar with all the real cedar trimmings. Bathroom was just lovely with a really large shower. This was all topped off with excellent coffee and friendly, helpfull staff. This hotel has my vote.

Full disclosure, we did not stay at the hotel. We cancelled our trip because the whole reservation process made me very sceptical and uncomfortable.I made a reservation online, never received any kind of confirmation e-mail but my credit card was charged twice. I called the hotel to ask about this and they said they never received my reservation request and requested a copy of my cc statement to show the double charge. My issue was forwarded to the manager who assured me he would look into the issue and get back to me within 48 hours. It has now been six days, I never heard back from him, the charges are still sitting on my card and he is now ignoring my multiple emails.
