Better Home Inspections

We used Doug’s Better Home Inspections twice in a short period of time, and would strictly use his inspection for any future house purchase.The level of detail and knowledge that we got in a custom prepared report with pictures exceeded our expectation. In the past, we had home indirections done very cheaply by ppl who were never in construction business and would end up with pre-filled, oversized binders full of generic checklists we never had any use for.Better home inspections report is a document we will keep for future reference for as long as we own the property. He advised us on what likely was the code at the time the house was built, what is the code now, and what we should expect to potentially have to upgrade in the coming years. He was very thorough, didn’t leave any part of the building unchecked, and advised us on what type of maintenance we should prepare for and how to mitigate any future erosion risks.Very grateful for Doug’s excellent service and would highly recommend his company to anyone.
