Visited Great Wall Tea for the first time today and had a really great experience! It was busy when I arrived but the salesperson Amari attended to every customer and they all left happy, many with multiple purchases! I was impressed by their menu and selection of loose leaf teas and thought the prices were very reasonable. I decided to purchase a mini bag of an Oolong tea called Iron Goddess of Mercy just to try it out because I thought it sounded cool, but turns out it actually tastes really nice too. Super cute local business in a cozy and trendy spot, will definitely be returning to try new flavours! Thanks for the great service and delicious tea.

Beautiful shop, terrible matcha (at least the iced one). I couldn’t even get myself to finish the watery frog water without any taste or form. The milk was barely noticeable in the thing too. It was made by a trainee I think, but that should only affect the speed not the quality.

Always friendly staff with a large selection of loose leaf teas. I get tea pretty much every time I come here and they have a really great selection of cold and hot drinks you can choose from that are customizable in sweetness and ice etc. They have seasonal flavors and also sell equipment for making tea/cups.

I live in the great white North and although we have a lovely selection of local harvested tea, it's quite small, and there aren't many other options of loose leaf tea (without artificial flavouring) - I ordered a variety online, was called immediately when one of the options I selected was sold out and was offered a different option at the same price - and was also gifted a couple of samples as well. Very grateful to the free shipping with larger orders, as shipping costs are usually an issue living up here. The postcard with a hand written note was also heartwarming. The Vanilla Creme and Peach Apricot are full of flavour and not too overpowering like some teas - highly recommend, and looking forward to trying the rest! They're so awesome, they have a lot of amazing teas and the lady working the till, can't remember her name, was super kind and gave a lot of great suggestions for tea to try.The peach apricot tea they had makes an excellent iced tea, steep 2 teabags (4-6 spoons of loose tea) in a large pitchar for 6 hours and it's super flavorful and refreshing and doesn't need sugar. If you steep to long it could get a bitterness but don't worry, a teaspoon of sugar in the cup completely nullifies it. It's also good served with sugar if you want a sweet tea!

Many options of high quality classic teas and blend teas. I buy loose teas but definitely love that I can buy just a cup of hot or iced tea.If you are looking to try new things, the people that work there are great at helping you in getting what you need.

None of their team is artificial. Ask for the ingredient list and you can prove it to yourself. And it is a BC company!! I had tea at their new Lougheed Town Centre store. The Matcha Latte is the BEST in the city, bar none.
