TLC Laser Eye Centres
Well organized and a very friendly staff. Had no worries going through with laser eye surgery. Was given a bunch of info beforehand going over everything that will happen and what to expect. Surgery day went quick and I’m still in awe how quick the results and recovery is. Vision is better than 20/20! Should have done this years ago! Will recommend it to anyone who is questioning on getting it done.

I wasn’t expecting to have one appointment and have everything done. Was pleasantly surprised that in my first visit I had my preliminary tests, got approved , and had my surgery all in the same day. Arrive around 10 am and had my surgery just after noon. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Made an effort to make all patience feel at ease and relaxed before and after surgery. Follow up the next day was quick thorough. Had a family member that had surgery at a different surgical facility and described a far worse experience. Lucky to say I had a much better experience.

My father recently had cataract surgery at TLC center inside the University of Waterloo, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From our first consultation to the post-operative follow-up, the whole team at the clinic were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Dr.McCuaig and support staff showed expertise and made father feel comfortable during the procedure. We highly recommend TLC for anyone considering cataract surgery.

5 STARS!! I can say everything from the virtual consultation right up until my surgery I was completely satisfied with. ALL the staff was amazing from the optometrist to the front desk staff to the surgery staff and to my surgeon. They explained everything very well, made me feel comfortable and were very friendly and reassuring! I would absolutely recommend TLC to anyone looking to get laser eye surgery! It’s an amazing feeling to be able to wake up and not use my contacts :)

I had an excellent experience at TLC for my laser eye surgery. I recommend taking Tylenol before the surgery, after the surgery and before you go to bed on the first night to help with the pain and to also do the drops every single hour the first day!!! I can finally see after wearing glasses and contacts for the last 7 years. All of the staff at TLC make the experience very relaxing and I felt very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of their glasses!

TLC staff are amazing. Super friendly and comforting. During surgery there was someone rubbing my shoulder to keep me calm. Surgeon was super friendly and easy to talk too. The procedure was less than 15 minutes. They were very organized the day off. I am so happy with the results!! I wish I would have done this sooner! Thanks again TLC! I was recommended by 3 others and I am happy to recommend this centre to anyone who is interested in getting lasik eye surgery!

I went to TLC by appointment to determine if my eyes were suitable for surgery. Especially technician Hitis's reassuring knowledge and professional explanation of the procedure and answers to my questions were very satisfactory.On the other hand, my experience with Nancy, who perceives rudeness as her right, does not know her limits towards guests, has insufficient knowledge, indifference and slapdash in her work, completely changed my decision.No healthcare institution that employs someone like Nancy and allows her to behave can be considered trustworthy.I wouldn't go to TLC even if they offered the surgery for free.

Staff is very friendly, very supportive. They definitely help the procedure feel less stressful. Dr. McCuaig was amazing - talked me through everything as he was doing it, very comforting, the surgery felt very quick. The doctor I saw for my post-op checkup (I didn't catch his name) was very friendly and personable. Everything went off without a problem. Definitely recommend.

The whole process from my consultation (which is free!) to LASIK eye surgery and follow-up appointment was very smooth. The staff are all very friendly and answered any question I had. I would definitely recommend TLC Waterloo to anyone interested. It’s amazing how quickly my vision was corrected. I woke up the next morning with 20/20 and the healing process has been going well (I’m post-op day 4).
