Utopia Feels Botanical Glampground and Micro-Farm

I was at a wedding there, recently. Tents were amazing, well decorated. Got really hot in the day but cooled off at night. It would have been nice to know where the extra blankets were at night because it was quite cold. The owner was definitely the thorn in the this experience, everything seemed to be a struggle in regards to basic things that were promised, ie bathrooms. Bathrooms should be an obvious straight forward thing… and they ended up being locked Sunday morning at about 9am when checkout was 11am. I would say the stay is not worth dealing with the unkind and unsavoury owner that runs it all.

Beautiful location. tents were absolutely gorgeous ! Beds were so comfy we didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning . Staff were very nice and accommodating definitely went above and beyond . They even brought out marshmallows for a family who had never had them before .The garden towers were truly mind blowing they were so full and healthy everything was exploding with produce .To top it all off their animals were adorable,Very friendly and very well taken care of !!Thank you Utopia for an amazing night away !10/10

Beautiful tents but the owner gave so many false promises and was not at all accommodating. Had to fight to have bathrooms at a wedding, as there were none even though it was advertised as having bathrooms and showers. The RV’s that he eventually agrees to bring in for bathrooms were overflowing before the end of the weekend, and the one good one was closed off by the owner before 10am even though we had the site paid for until 2pm. We were told to stop talking to the workers who were around the animals because it was distracting (so the so called petting zoo was really just a few animals that happen to be there without any way to ask about petting, feeding, or interacting with them). We were told it was a $500 fine to even go near the hydroponics towers, even though some reviews say they were able to walk around them and even pick a couple herbs, so that was false as well. Too many other disappointing events to even list that ruined what should have been a great wedding weekend.

I attended the site as a bridesmaid for my friends wedding. My comment will be strictly on how difficult it was for my friend and her fiancé to plan this wedding. Doug made promises in the beginning which is why they booked this venue. It was a huge fight just to deliver the basics like bathrooms and an area to get married. Doug did not “bend over backwards” as he claims because these are things that should have been supplied with zero issue.No bride should have this stress a week before the wedding. They even tried to look for another venue but that was impossible as the majority of these huge concerns were only brought to their attention a week before the date.His reply to our reviews “we clearly did not belong here” is actually rude. Our guests were respectful and did nothing wrong. I would strongly suggest to not book your wedding at this venue. Doug will make promises, be hard to deal with, and not deliver!

We watched Doug and LJ build and develop their little utopia from the day they bought the once old nursery. They are an inspiration and have so many ideas and plans for this place that they actually are fulfilling and quickly. We are excited to see what they do next and would 100 percent recommend any of our family and friends stay with them and enjoy the beautiful large tents, the gardens and farm animals. They will both happily and with enthusiasm go out of their way to show you everything they have done and intend to do and leave you wanting to build your own Utopia.

My recent stay at Utopia Feels was an absolute dream! Doug, the owner, welcomed us and provided exceptional hospitality throughout our visit. The location was simply stunning, surrounded by breathtaking beauty. The tents were both beautiful and comfortable, showcasing attention to detail. The presence of adorable animals on the property added an extra delight. Furthermore, Utopia Feels’ dedication to sustainable initiatives was commendable.In summary, I highly recommend this stay to anyone seeking an extraordinary retreat. Doug and his team's warm hospitality, the mesmerizing location, the luxurious tents and the sustainable initiatives combined to create an unforgettable experience.

Visiting from Toronto and this was spectacular. The owners could not be more accommodating and were very friendly. The tents were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable and had a wonderful sleep. I wish you all the best for your future at Utopia Feels.

If I can give this place 10 stars I would! Everything is well thought. The animals are super cute and friendly. The outdoor cinema and Tower garden was super cool we got to pick our very own produce with the assistant of the staff. The owners and Staff are very accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place. You have to stay there. Utopia Feels… Amazing and freeing! I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work.

This was a magical stay at an idyllic location. The host was super friendly and welcoming, making sure multiple times that we had everything we needed. The tents were wonderful - huge and beautifully decorated, and the beds were so comfy! Our group had a lovely time wandering around and enjoying the beautiful gardens. A sweet spot to get away to.

My husband and I stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. We had a blast! Doug was very sweet and made us feel at home. The tent was so cozy and clean, and the beds were wonderful on our backs. Lastly, there were farm animals, my favorite part! Can't wait to come back to visit Skimmy the cow and see what Doug has in store for the farm.
