Been visiting my sister there, the staff are Inconsiderate, cockroaches infestation and she's only been there 3 months

I still currently am a tenant at this apartment and unless if you like water turned off for repairs every morning. Cockroaches and mice living amongst the walls non-stop noise. Well then welcome neighbor and don't worry they have fixed up the damage caused by the fire.

Do not move here! These apartment building's are invested with coackroaches and bed bugs. The staff are so inconsiderate and unempathetic they honestly could care less it makes me sad. They let a pregnant women move into an unsafe and unclean unit that was infested with roaches. They then did nothing when I had a newborn and there was a bed bug infestation that was brought by someone who moved in. They also did nothing when there was no heat in the freezing winter, they told me cover the windows w blankets and keep my newborn in a blanket?? They did not notify or disclose any of this information to us putting myself my baby and my partner at a huge health risk. They do not keep this building clean there was one time someone dropped a pizza and I called saying there was stuff all over the floor and they didn't clean it up until a month later. Needless to say we were able to get out of our lease only 3 months after moving in! The staff of realstar continously made up promises that were never fulfilled. After we moved out they then took a months rent of out of our account, it is important to know you pay last months rent upon moving in, that did not stop them they quite literally stole money from us and I had to call every hour until they refunded us!! I probably called all the existing realstar numbers and no one responded not even head office! I'm leaving this review in hopes that someone from realstar headoffice will finally contact me.

The location is good and accommodating to people that do not drive. There are a lot of grocery stores and banks around the area of these buildings.The units are a fair size, and the balconies are decent also.The building is clean from around 6am-until at best 2pm and then it goes down hill until the next day. I find Debbie does an amazing job when it comes to cleaning the laundry room, elevators and common areas in the building. I also find that Jim does a phenomenal job when it comes to taking care of the outside areas, along with all the maintenance required in the building.Derek and Michelle mostly work in the other building, or during my working hours so I don't see them as often.

The building is fine but overpriced now. Owners/management are incredibly inconsiderate of disabled tenants, no accommodations are made for construction projects which inhibit their ability to use the elevator or go in and out of the building. The few times that there has been a message to let them know if they need accommodations etc, the management gives attitude to people who use it.

I am a new resident of 1 month. In the first month I have seen roaches no less than 5 separate times. The building management is not competent or resourced enough to take care of this problem as you can see it's been a known issue for awhile if you look at the other reviews. They can't even get their pest control people to show up. You absolutely do not want to move in here and risk cockroaches like I have to deal with now. Water has also failed multiple times within a month and 5 of the 7 dryers are broken for the entire first month so far.

Application submitted on December 16, it's now January 5th and I have not heard anything back. They even told me 3 times they would submit the application but never did. Do not apply here unless you want your time wasted. Any company would be better to rent from. The fact the owner has these people representing his company is unbelievable

I was a resident from late 2020 to early 2022 and our unit was plagued by cockroaches for the entirety of 2021. During Spring '21 the incompetent/under-resourced property management ignored us for 2 months while the cockroaches multiplied. It took contacting Property Standards to get them in gear and by then we were killing 3-5/day (10/day at the peak). Moreover, at our LTB hearing, Michelle and the owner of their pest control company lied about the cleanliness of our apartment and state we left it upon move out, claiming we were living amongst our garbage. Avoid living here at all costs.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. First 2 weeks of living here and my daughter saw roaches, then a couple months later bed bugs. They admitted these were known problems before she moved in but did not tell her. Terrible Terrible management and disgusting maintenance. The picture is a picture I just took today of one of the windows.
