Squint Lake Park

So big so beautiful park great if you have pets or kids

New playground is nice.. too bad they didn’t replace the zip line.

A nice park with pickleball courts (brand new and open now, they replaced all of the tennis courts and also built more pickleball) softball fields (4 large 1 small), plenty of trails, a small parking lot, washrooms, playground for the kids. Good standings to watch softball games, nets above to catch erroneous balls. Golf course parking lot can be used if the squint lake lot is full.

Don't squint or you'll miss it! Burnaby Mtn next to golf course. Lots of trails, tennis courts, playground, shadey spots and big free parking lot. Dogs on leash allowed. Large clean public bathrooms. Well maintained. There is no lake at the park. The actual lake is connected to the golf course next door and is really more of a pond. No swimming or access to it. Beautiful and peaceful area to play sports and entertain children. A brand new play ground is under construction along with new pickelball courts.

I like this spot for walks with friends and hanging out in the shade. One star off because the playground has a musical game for the kids that is crazy annoying lol There are a lot of dogs off leash if that’s something that bothers you. Also recently the bathroom was reno’d and is really nice!

We come here all the time they have baseball diamonds . tennis courts. Playground. Golf and trails this all pack into a nice suburb of burnaby. If your kids play pokemon there is lots of gyms and stops while you have fun walking.

Squint Lake Park, adjacent to a golf course inside the city of Burnaby, is a nice park where one can have a good vision of the pretty golf course and where one can enjoy a nice hike as the trail is even somewhere and with tree roots exposed in other areas like on a mountain. It was my first walk in the park. Besides seeing a spacious parking lot near the entrance, the washroom building next to the parking lot, and many hikers at different age, I caught sight of a kid’s playground with a colourful slide and a swing, a little adorable girl riding a kid’s bicycle on the trail, a professional female dog walker walking three dogs together, a simple but creative artwork by the forest, and a narrow wooden bridge underneath which is a warbling brook. So poetic!
