I fail to believe how this branch is open, the management is unprofessional and careless. After they deliberately shared my personal informations, I called the bank manager to discus this MAJOR ISSUE. Regardless of the situation, I was calm while she was so agitated, yelling and screaming...She ended up hanging up on me after understanding that she made a major mistake. Very unfortunate, I made a formal complaint.

My main Branch leaves a note not to hold a particular cheque for times when I need to run payroll before the cheque would be freed. The manager at this branch refuses to accept this note. She's the only one on the planet that won't. All other branches do. Today is the last time I go to this Branch. I spent 160kms and about 4.5 hours trying to deal with a cheque she decided should be held or I take it somewhere else. Problem is, they stamped it rendering it no good for other branches. This lady should think about a career that doesn't involve client service. . .

Good luck trying to talk to somebody that works there. the phone menu is broken. Randomly hangs up and english menu doesnt work. Then when you do get transfered from the central branch location to the local branch the voicemail for the assistant manager is stilp set for when she was on vacation even tho she has been back a week. Then the extension on the card the guy gives you does not lead to the right person but doesnt mater as they arent picking up either nor calling you back...

Horrible location. Never enough staff, wait time is ridiculous.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH.Horrible service. Used to be amazing 10 years ago, now, they will shook w no empathy, they can never help at the branch, they always te you that you have to call.I told the receptionist i waited 3 hours on the phone and got no service, she didn't even apologize, just confirmed that this is normal. No empathy. One of their employees had a mask hanging from 1 ear, not wearing his mask the whole 15 minutes i was there, while he was i contact with several employees.Clearly they have different rules for their staff than for their customers, who they clearly don't value whatsoever.The branch manager contacted me because i gave them a bad review, he said to contact him if i need anything. I tried, no luck. An agent on the phone emailed him, he never called me back.I moved my file to a different branch in Plateau, where the service is outstanding, they really make this branch look absolutely horrible.Will never go back.

I am calling just to change an appointment with an advisor and it won't even let me talk to someone at the branch unless I type in my card number. With all the profit this bank is making, it can't pay someone to answer the phone at my local branch? Terrible service!

Very unprofessional staff, no empathy. I missed an appointment due to an emergency and I got a call 5 hours after ( and not at the appointment time ) by an advisor complaining why I have not advised her and blaming me with a very apathetic tone that I took some one else’s place. This made me even feel guilty despite the emergency I had and completely forgot to give her a call. The reason for the appointment was to get identified for an account opening despite being identified through the app at account opening that I did myself. At the first place, this is a very inconvenient way of doing business since I opened an account and everything looked good ( with no email telling me that the identification needs to be done at the branch once again). One month later, I got a call that your account is frozen and I have to go to the branch for identification. I am very happy that I closed my account with this bank. I do not recommend Scotia Bank!

This bank offers many incentives to NEW customers, but unfortunately does not offer much to it's long standing customers. Very frustrating and unfair. They are also very difficult to get a hold of on the phone. And the very few times I set foot into my branch, I definitely do not feel welcomed. They would rather NOT see people.

I describe this branch of Scotia Bank in 3 words: Unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Except for one or two tellers, others cannot even do simple transactions. Also never on time for appointments. Planning to move accounts.

worst service you can ever get at a bank. stay away! the branch manager needs to go this job is not for her
