We were happy to find this friendly municipal campground to spend the night after a long day at the wheel. The bonus was the museum and outside exhibit of agricultural artifacts and equipment.

Caroline Municipal RV Park
Spent 3 days and 2 nights at the campground. Also able to visit the farmers market which is every Friday from May until September. Our stay was wonderful. We had a very private lot tucked in the trees and was easy to park in. We would definitely return for another stay in the future.

The camp sites do need work! They’re not terrible but the fire pit is on the side of the campsite, which means you can’t sit around it because of the bush and drop off! I sat by the fire ring and instantly had ants crawling all over my legs! The price was thirty five dollars for a powered site. They have a Sani dump which should be included in that price and was told it’s $15 on top of the $35 to dump there. Most places are around five dollars so I thought this was a little outrageous and opted out and didn’t use it!

As municipal campgrounds go, this one was pretty good.Had to make an emergency overnight stay and the caretaker happily accommodated me.Campsites were well treed and spaced for additional privacy.Caretaker was super polite and friendly they had running, potable, water which is always a bonus on a hot day.

Great little place. Big spacious sites. Washrooms on site are pit toilets and could do with a lick of paint, however the other services down at the way in, are extremely good. Very helpful and informative site warden.

Really enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Caroline Municipal park.The bathrooms were clean and well kept. The sites were large and clean and set back in the forest. Will return next year.The host was helpful and knowledgeable.
