Great pedicure, quick and thorough. When I called for more info about the ingredients of the products they used, the woman who answered the phone was super helpful and sent me tons of info via email. You can tell they actually care here, it's really nice.

I was recently reflecting on a visit I paid to The Ten Spot awhile ago, and something was bothering me. This review is more directed to management to reflect on their business structure, as I think it bears mentioning. I went in for some routine, simple facial waxing, and when I was in the chair the technician started remarking on how much acne/clogged pores I had and how certain products in the shop could help me address this. Now, I am blessed with relatively clear skin, all things considered. I'm not perfect by any means but overall I consider myself quite lucky in that regard. However, the wax technician was adamant in showing me the dermalogica products and saying how much I needed them. Obviously their business model might rely on retail sales, however I can only imagine how much this sales strategy might harm the confidence of teenagers or people who suffer from chronic skin issues that require medical intervention, not just dermalogica (which is a very expensive solution compared to more affordable brands or prescription options). I sincerely urge The Ten Spot to think about how they encourage retail sales and steer away from preying on or planting the seeds of insecurity by giving unsolicited and misguided advice.

UPDATE:Went in to have my gel manicure redone. Lasted much longer and am happy with my results. Also, my original gel pedicure still looks great!*********************Beautiful and clean spot. Staff are lovely. However, I paid way too much to have my gel manicure chip on me less than 24 hours later. Very disappointed.

A welcoming, immaculate salon with friendly skilled staff. A friend recommended Ten Spot to me after an absolute disaster at another local spa and I was fixed in no time. So happy and impressed, I will surely return. My pedicure is now perfect.

The staff are the best in the city. We took a friend for her birthday pedi and were treated with the best hospitality. The tubs and tools are fully sanitized and clean. I am a big fan of the Ten Spot!! Young and old can feel comfortable to access this establishment.

My main issue was the high step up to the pedicure seats. I can't really walk, and it was a tough climb. Also, the washroom isn't big enough for my walker or my wheelchair. Having said that, the care was excellent and much assistance was offered to me.

I went here for a facial and booked with Antonietta and was very impressed with the level of professionalism and the care she took with me. She did a great job going over my skin concerns and providing recommendations! Very happy with my treatment and will definitely be back!

I've been going to the 10 Spot for a variety of services since 2011. In 11 years I've never had a negative experience at the Leslieville or Beaches locations and I've always walked away feeling well taken care of and happy with their services. In particular, I see Angie and Antonietta at the Beaches location. They are both professional, and friendly and make great recommendations about skin care. Antonietta has given me personalized recommendations for my skin that have transformed its appearance and given me a lot more confidence. Highly, highly recommend.

I have been so happy with my laser experience at the Ten Spot with Roisin! She is thorough and cares about my experience. The room is clean and has beautiful wallpaper to give some warmth to the space. I have completed many sessions and can hardly see any re-growth, so it's easy to forget about shaving most of the time.
