It's a good place for younger kids, yes. But everything is so abused kinda... Buttons do not work, lots of stuff is dirty and overused! Definitely needs an update

Cons: I've been to many children's museums globally with my kids, and this one has to be one of the worst I've ever seen. Most areas are very run down. Interactive buttons on most displays do not work. Artic Inuit area pictures ripped and taped with scotch tape. Almost every area looks tired. Plus (not museum's fault), you have parents who are obviously not parenting their kids. My child at multiple times had kids destroy things he was working on by unparented kids. It's sad that there seems little respect for others among many parents and their children. The museum is not an unsupervised daycare center. I would say most activities are for children 1-7, age 7 tops.Pros: Staff were very kind. The lunch area is decent if you can find a spot. Washrooms were clean. The dinosaur area was cool, and my son enjoyed it. The pollination area is cleaner and looks a bit newer.Addendum: I just found out that there is a new children's museum being built in London to be ready sometime in 2024. I now can understand why things continue to be run down and looking tired. I look forward to hopefully visiting the new site in 2024 and letting you know what it's like.

We've been visiting the museum regularly since our now 7 year old was a toddler. It's a great way to kill an afternoon and worth getting a membership for if you're local. The holiday events are some of our faves to attend as well!I'd say the ideal age range is 18 months- 7. I'm very excited to see what the new location will be like.

Definitely a place to bring kids. inside there are science, space, dinosaurs, stem rooms and some playgrounds. You need to allocate at least 3 hours of your time.

We made an unplanned visit to this museum last weekend. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a decent size on the inside. For the price, it's ok, especially on a rainy day. The problem is, a lot of it is tired and dated or broken. But through the kids eyes, it's probably not as bad. With their move to Kellogg's Lane coming in the future, I'm sure they won't shell out much money to this building, which is why it's hard to give it 5 stars when we all know it's about a 3 now.Among the things to do here are: an old classroom, a dinosaur area, a hallway of caves to explore, an arctic area, a London Hydro hub area for kids to play with power and a also dress up area where kids can pretend to be a chef, banker, mailman, handy man, among other things. It's definitely worth a visit, on a rainy day like I mentioned. I'm sure your little one will have a good time for an hour or two.3/5. Can't wait for the move to Kelloggs._____________________________Follow me for more reviews, tips and photos!

Perfect place to spend a day for a preschooler. We went on the Easter weekend when they had planned an egg hunt and egg drop activity. We planned to spend only a couple of hours but ended up spending the entire day with our 4 year old. He loved the entire place and the activities. He spent the day pretend-playing a dentist, firefighter, cook, veterinarian, and so many more roles. The STEM area is very inspiring...even I had things to learn. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it such fun.

This place is amazing loved it! only problem is it cost almost $50 for me my wife and my two girls. (But better staff communication and marketing is needed). Because they also have a season pass that's $145 but they didn't mention that when you get there. And it's not really front and centre for you to see. even though we told them it was our first time since it is so pricey I feel like they should offer it where if it's your first visit and you pay and you like it so much you want to get a pass you deduct that 50$ off the season pass and get the season pass. because it only makes sense as long as you're going to visit there at least three times or at the very least make sure people are aware of it. And the staff were a bit placid they don't go out of the way for anything. I when I was trying to get a cup to buy a coffee for change. So my girls could use a couple of the interactive micro attractions that you need coins for. I stood there and 2 out of 3 staff seen me and just didn't say anything. But as far as for your children awesome
