Morien Cliffs Municipal Park

The views are incredible with lovely salt water and an amazing beach. Definitely one of my top tens beaches to visit.

Well cared for spot! Whether you came to sit in the Adirondack chairs provided and take in the view, walk the small beach, swim, or just take a few pics, you can't go wrong. Also there is a spot to take/leave a fetch stick for your pupper!

Located on Cape Breton's Marconi Trail the Morien Cliffs Park is a small area with an excellent view of the town's harbour. Pictured here is the sailor's monument placed in honor of the fisher's who helped sustain the economy of the community. The picture's were taken during an overcast day but look closely. Off in the distance is the Scatarie Island Wilderness Protected Area. Scatarie Island stretches more than 10 km from Western Point, 2km off the mainland, to Eastern Head. With a rugged, irregular shore, Scatarie Island is one of Nova Scotia's largest islands. The Morien Park also has a Polar Dip" on New Years Day when you can take a dip in the fridged Atlantic Ocean during winter."

This is one of my go to place. Summer time best family beach. Winter time nice walk. Neighborhood is friendly.

Very nice and cozy place, clean beach. I was unlucky with the weather, it was windy. But you can admire the landscape and breathe in the fresh sea air.

A beautiful, well kept and secluded beach 15 minutes from Glace bay. Watch the fishing boats come in and enjoy a book at this beach. Lots of seating available.We did a little beach clean up and are thankfull for the garbage bin someone personally put there. Thank you.

Beautiful beach some sea glass...please dont litter!

It would be a great little beach if it weren’t for the brownish coloured water and orange foam covered shore. I wouldn’t swim here or allow my children to but many locals didn’t seem to mind the murky water.
