I had a very positive experience having an eye test and getting new glasses at old south optometry. Everyone was helpful and enthusiastic and dedicated to helping me and my eyes.

Nicely setup clinic with a smart setup for handling COVID related safety of visitors. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and welcoming. Despite the hurdles of running business safely they got me in on relatively short notice in December and I had my new glasses a few weeks later. Also quite punctual with bookings and I did not wait long on either my initial visit or followup to pick up my glasses.

Old South Optometry has taken care of my optical needs for several years now and I have had excellent experiences each time I visit them. Dr. Chevalier has provided excellent care and reassurance especially as I have an extensive family history of ocular disease. Melissa always helps me to choose the best frames based on my prescription and is unfailingly courteous and kind. The staff at the clinic all do their best to make you feel welcome.It’s a great place to get your glasses!

The Service at Old South Optometry is outstanding. The Staff are wonderful and kind giving me and my family the best deals and discounts. I have grown up being a patient at Old South Optometry and I could not imagine going anywhere else for my sunglasses.One of my favourite appointments was to come to Old South Optometry and get my eyes checked followed by me and my mom trying all of the sunglasses on. A large variety of amazing brands with beautiful designs that I loved looking at every time I had an appointment. The best part of Old South Optometry was how me along with my family were welcomed and greeted with hugs every time we visited. A few years ago I decided to purchase glasses from a somewhat cheaper dispensary who proved themselves to be lacking in the level of knowledge and expertise required to meet my complex vision needs. The staff at Old South helped assure me that they could support me through this ordeal and were deeply committed to making sure I got the glasses I needed. They continue to be available repeatedly to help me with my complicated vision prescription. I'd like to give a special thanks to Dr. Bauman who is professional and meticulous and especially to Melissa who is both highly skilled and incredibly friendly. I am stuck at home due to my last fall and I am searching for glasses frames" and the main Optometry nearest me is you and yet you have ZERO choices on your website. When did you go strickly chemical choices and NOT promoting the frames that you have normally? I wanted OSO to get my money to support you but now I will get from somewhere else I guess. With everyone making sales online you think you would take simple pictures and put them up?"

I've been coming here for about 5 years. Will echo some concerns expressed by others that they had lots of hiccups with appts during covid. Switched from Dr Chevalier to Dr Tewari about 2 years ago based only on availability. Have received excellent care by both.
