CIBC Branch with ATM

Horrible, I was waiting in line for 5 minutes when someone come up to me asking what I needed help with. I let her know, and she told me to come and sit at a table and someone would be right over to help. I waited 20 minutes and no one came over, if I just stayed in line I would’ve been helped already! And I was in a rush.

Came here on Saturday at 3:30pm. No line ups which was great, we just want to open a joint chequing account when both of us already bank with cibc, brought all of our IDs and we’re told there’s not enough time because the branch closes at 4pm so they can’t help us and we need to book an appointment. (First of all ??? Why does it take that long to open a chequing account). So we said ok, then the first teller said she can’t help us so we have to wait for the other teller to finish with another customer. Then with the second teller, she’s extremely slow and booking an appointment took almost 15 minutes, we just stood there and waited for her to type. With this productivity, I’m now not even surprised why they said there’s not enough time.

They moved down to the same plaza with LCBO and Canada Post beside High Tech Rd @ Yonge Street.This old location has closed.

Wow this is the worst CIBC branch we have ever been to. We had an appointment with the adviser Jocelyn Yuan today on Saturday and they just called us an hour before the appointment to cancel cause the advisor didn’t show up! Such a disappointment costumer service! You can at least give us earlier notice because it’s a weekend!Also our first time when we walked in to check if we can upgrade our checkin account in order to cover the prices for our credit card but our the teller was completely giving us the wrong information. We were lucky that my husband knew about the possibility and pushed for it otherwise we would have been misled into not upgrading for sure.

This branch has a warm environment with nice staff. They're polite and do your job correctly. It could have more tellers to respond customers faster. Two ATM machines are available. The location is good. Parking spots are available as well.

Terrible customer service! This is my home branch and I'm currently out of the country and needing an urgent banking matter dealt with that telephone banking cannot help me with. I have called multiple times and they have not answered their phone or returned my calls after leaving two voicemails. How unprofessional and dangerous to not be able to contact your home branch while traveling. I will absolutely be filing a complaint to CIBC.

We were at the Richmond hill branch and got exceptional service from Rahul! He ensured all our pending issues were resolved quickly and went out of his way to address our concerns. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience

I had to go there twice for my banking works. I spoke with Panted and Rouzbeh which were both incredibly helpful snd well-behaved.Highly recommended

I was just there doing a quick small deposit however the ATM kept returning my cash. so i decided to go to see a teller. The head teller ( a Persian lady who sit in the corner) kept cleaning her cheques and the other two are fairly young with same clients for long time. I waited patiently and the Persian lady had scanned all her cheques and stapled them again and again. So i asked her if she could help and she told me sorry she had closed wicket already. I mean everyone wants to go home at 5pm. But being a senior does not mean that you can ignore your client and let junior employees do more. Thats not a nice model to young generations and new employees.

I had appointment with M.s Maryam. She advise me very good to open an account.I was completely satisfy with this branch and it’s employees.
