Moosomin Country Squire Inn & Restaurant

Drove 10.5 hrs to stay here for a funeral......Smells like sewage.Waitress for bar ditched both nights.Room unclean and and no hot water.Very very disappointed. Do not recommend at all .

I stayed many kind of accommodations at many places. I go and back between Vancouver and Ontario. I just like to say “standard” here, Key box should be visible to find it easily, usually near the front desk or entrance area. I couldnt see it when I check out and the front door opens 7am, it has to be 6am in my opinion in the summer for early driving schedule. No one check it with a little paper for the key drop cause we are usually tired from many hours of driving, want to have wifi, shower, eating, sleep. There is last order time 8:30 pm @restaurant and the bar has no food, it supposed be with some simple food like heating up pizza etc, (i knew many motels bar offer it, late night snack ) Well, you have to find food if you are hungry after 8:30 pm so I went to take out food from Wong. I stayed room #112, the shower main handle was wobbly, broken . I paid C$98 with tax. Is it cheap or expensive for a night?

Great price. Friendly staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.The room was a good size and not cramped.No breakfast included. Does have in room coffee.Shower worked like showers should.It's definitely dated. I've paid more for worse.If you want new and fancy go down the street and pay double. If you want clean, friendly and low cost this place is a great choice.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Neglected to let us know that the kitchen was under renovation so no food on premises.

We broke down and it was to be -37 that night. The Squire was heaven. Monica and Ethan, at the desk, were awesome! Clean sheets & towels, hot shower, wifi, resteraunt... House-keeping was superb. AAA rating because we were warm, safe, and comfortable for 3 days. until our repair was complete.

No pride of ownership at this hotel. Bed was lumpy, basically tried to avoid sleeping in the deep hole in my mattress. Knock at the door for housecleaning at 9:30am before even check out time.

Went in for dinner. Restaurant was not busy, but apparently, the bar was.Food was tasty. Menu has changed recently and has a lot less.

Terrible, almost everything had something wrong, first up our reservations were not available for our work team leaving some of our work crew without rooms.Our room refrigerator was not working and smelled like something had died plus the room also smelled like mold but staff were quick to replace it with a somewhat working fridge.The A/C does not work but at least it pushes the air inside.The furniture is from the 90s, the coffee maker was moldy never been cleaned, the washroom was clean but was very liminal.NO HOT WATER!No microwave only a single one in the hallway by drink machine.Lots of scuff marks on the walls seemed like this hotel had had its fair share of rowdy guests hence the smashed alcohol beverage bottles on the ground outside.Building has sketchy electricity wiring hooked up to the outside of the building, highly doubt this place is up to code.

I have to write this review without even been able to stay at this motel. I called to make a reservation & confirmed it was pet friendly. After driving sixteen hours with just my two & four year old daughters, we arrived and were eager to get some rest. The front desk lady apologized for her mistake because they had no pet friendly rooms left. Instead of trying to make something work they left us basically stranded at 9PM. Thankfully another local hotel had a room available to us. Would not recommend making a reservation here, what a headache. Terrible terrible customer service.
