Horizon Residence
This is been my home for almost 2 years and it has been great! This place is perfect for students or people moving into their first apartment. With big windows, hardwood floors, and plenty of living space for an affordable price, it really feels like a home. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

Worst place ever. Would give no stars if I could. Ridiculously overpriced and the staff is extremely rude. Invades your privacy as well (will enter unit without permission) and they do not follow any landlord / rental laws. Kirsten (building manager) is one of the worst human beings I’ve met. Beware of this place.

I lived here for 3 years. It’s overpriced and the staff are horrible people. It’s unsafe. You have no control of the temperature so you freeze or overheat. They scam international students. THEY ENTICE PEOPLE TO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS IN RETURN FOR FREE RENT FOR A MONTH (which is illegal). Stay away!

Horrible place to live, I do not recommend. They give out oilers tickets in exchange for a good review. It’s overpriced and they do not return your $850 damage deposit. 0/5 stars

I moved here in august and being a student at NAIT it was really convenient because there is easy access to get the the bus and train stop, and to get groceries only a few minutes away. Very friendly environment

I moved into horizon in August and the past 5 months living there have been great! As a Macewan student, the location of horizon is ideal... I walk literally 3 minutes and I'm at school! The ladies in the office and staff are kind which is a bonus as well. If you are a student looking for somewhere affordable and convenient to live this is the place :)

Horizon is a great place to live for University! Very clean, great building staff, and fast maintenance to fix requests. The underground parking is great, Horizon is so close to grocery stores, and the building feels really safe to live in. The most noise I hear is people walking in the hallway for a few seconds so that makes it really easy to do school work too!

Horizon is a great place to live for students, they are easy to communicate with from the start of your application to the end of your lease. The staff here are so genuine and down to earth and are always happy to answer any questions during your stay. One of the better places to live then other off-campus residences!
