Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine

I am currently a first year student here and I am so unbelievably unhappy with the way this place is run! no one answers emails. no one has any information on what is happening, every is so lost!!!!! I am spending 25 grand a year to go to this school and it is not work a penny! I am learning nothing and the staff is so unhelpful. the teachers don't even introduce themselves when you finally meet them in person. Apparently the communication issue has been around for years! yet nothing has changed

We Have been to the Canadian college of natural medicine for the past few years and we are extremely satisfied .Dr Afsoun Khalili is amazing and truly cares about her patients .Its been a life changing experience and we have recommended many people.The staff are very friendly, natural medicine trully works and you will live pain free and most importantly dont meed to take any chemicals with regular medicines.All the best

In my experience, they will openly violate your rights if you are disabled and gaslight you in the process. I scheduled residence months in advance for them to cancel it two days before my arrival and I had to seek other accommodations due to their refusal to accommodate my service animal. The communication is horrible and no one gets back to you in a timely manner through email correspondence. Trusting them was my first and last mistake. CCNM is not a safe place for people who experience disabilities.

With regards to the International breastfeeding clinic inside this facility:They have one trick only. Snip the frenulum. It won't work. All the research, including meta analysis advise against frenotomy. Don't let them do it.They use all types of off label drugs and herbals. They cite articles that are not peer reviewed. Nothing they do has any science to back it up.Your child will grow bigger, the latch will get better. Do NOT listen to anybody who tells you otherwise, especially the Newman clinic and their Lactation consultants" who have no formal training or certification. Heck

They don 't have knowledge, I do not recommend it.

I have being seeing Sholeh Ghayoori Pirsoltan in person at the Toronto location and have had a positive experience. She is very knowledgeable and we always have a very informative discussion.

While the administration claims to care about students, treat everyone fairly, and be anti-racist and anti-discrimination, profs are very biased, especially towards the IMG (international medical graduate students)… it kinda looks likes that the profs are jealous of their IMG students!!! Many of them are also very impatient with students whose first language is not English and are very disconnected from the students. Most profs and staff at this college don’t show any understanding and compassion towards students, have rude and discriminatory behaviour, and fail to provide fair accommodations to students. I will NEVER recommend this college to any of my friends or acquaintances interested in continuing education or those looking for naturopathic services. I think the only reason this college with its rude and racist staff is still even in business is that it is the only naturopathic college in Toronto.

My first visit since Covid started, it was nice to see my Doctor and her student Brittany today. No waiting because you go right in at your appointment time. Nobody waiting in the reception area. Everybody is friendly and knowledgeable.You need to bring change for parking or use Google pay or scan the bar code on the machine where you pay options.

I'm still waiting to get a blood work test requisition from May. They scheduled me in for a second follow up, which I canceled because everytime I asked if they had it ready they kept telling me to be patient and wait for the requisition. When the natropath I saw said they wanted to see the blood work in the second follow up. Avoid this school there are better places.
