We are so happy and impressed with the quality of service, professionalism, ethics, and compassion with which the staff at Jerrett (St. Clair Chapel) handled and executed our loved one’s funeral.In an industry where clients are grieving and vulnerable to dishonest and questionable selling practices, the staff at Jerrett made us feel listened to, and did not pressure us into any funeral options. They really listened to what our funeral needs were, and crafted a package that met those needs in the most economical way. At no point did we feel pressured or uncomfortable. It is abundantly clear that the staff at Jerrett handle the business ethically and with transparency.Whenever we had questions about funeral details, Maureen was usually the person we spoke to. Despite my numerous questions and follow ups, Maureen was extremely attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure all our questions and needs were answered and met. Maureen also went above and beyond helping us coordinate with the Church and cemetery to confirm timing and details.The facility itself is beautiful and satisfied our needs. The parlour was spacious and clean. Staff were attentive to our needs and helped managing the large number of visitors who attended. Staff were professional and respectful when transporting our loved one to the mass and later to the cemetery. The limousine was clean and our driver was very kind.We were so impressed and felt really taken care of when one of the staff members (Tracey) brought our loved one’s remains to the cemetery for burial on her day off (which happened to be on one of the coldest days of the year). Tracey arrived well before we got to the cemetery and stayed for the entire burial - she only left after ensuring we were okay and taken care of. She was so compassionate and really made us feel important. It was so very kind of Tracey to ensure we were taken care of on her day off.We would recommend Jerrett St. Clair Chapel to anyone looking for a reputable and ethical funeral provider. My family has had a few funerals at Jerrett so far, and our most recent experience confirms why we continue to come back. What a wonderful experience from start to finish, during such a difficult time. My mother-in-law passed late last year and it was a very stressful time particularly because of the situation. Maureen was so caring with the right amount of professionalism and support. We got through it and I cannot express how truly grateful my husband and I were. It wasn’t just Maureen but each and every staff member were also equally as caring and supportive. One of the best experiences during one of the worst times, we truly recommend this funeral home. A perfect rating doesn’t do the Jerrett Funeral Home team justice. From that first painful call asking for assistance to the very end of service we felt heard, supported, embraced. Our expectations were not just met but exceeded. What an amazing staff from Maureen’s solace, guidance, and expert planning, Katie’s exceptional execution, tenderness and smile that lifted our spirits giving us strength, to the drivers Nada, Mario and Jeff making us feel so valued and precious, the pallbearers grace and respect in carrying my father to his final resting place and Father Costa’s touching and comforting sermon. The candle, the rosary, the incense, so many symbolic details and how beautifully my father was presented gave us peace. We are forever grateful to the Jerrett Funeral Home Family for making a heart wrenching day bearable.

My experience with the staff Maureen, Katie and Gitana as well as Daniela has been a wonderful experience. All members of the staff showed lots of compassion, professionalism, and made things easy when making arrangements for my fathers service. It showed that they loved what they do. When talking to them it felt like we were part of a family as if we knew each other for a very long time which made the grieving process easier on all of us.
