Tom Stewart & Wife General Store
This store smells of cured meats and has an lcbo open 365 days per year. Staff is very friendly and gives kids lollipops sometimes if they're crying in the store. Their food is reasonably priced considering they could charge more and people would still buy groceries here. They have a lot of fireworks, hats and other oddities. Great store that serves the community impeccably.

Stewart's has new owners which means longer hours, there's an LCBO in the store which usually keeps the same hours open till 10pm closes earlier on Sunday 9 pm I believe, but with this most recent covid shutdown the LCBO is only open till 8. The new owners are very nice and super friendly, I always stop by when I'm in the area.... great store with great atmosphere.. I love buying lotto and scratch tickets here as well.

when I went by it this last week, it looked like the store had closed. Its a shame, I had always wanted to stop and shop, but we always had to get to Elliot Lake, and stopping wasn't possible...its nice to see family run stores, thriving..

An oasis found at night when everything else is closed for miles around. On a trip from Sault Saint Marie a large group looking for an LCBO we found this place at 8:45pm.My passengers were very happy.
