Super 8 by Wyndham Calgary Shawnessy Area

The pool was clean, with a fun slide. The hotel it felt warm and family oriented.

Pros: Room was clean, and quiet, front end staff was very friendly. Liked that we could open a window for fresh air. Lots of amenities within east walking/driving distance.Come: Shower water smelled like it was pumped straight from the pool, difficult location to access and front parking was very limited. Lots of back parking but couldn’t access the lobby without a room key so had to walk around the building when we arrived.

it was a nice stay in the hotel. All our needs are met. staffs are friendly and helpful. Want to mention Parmjit who is very friendly and making sure buffet is filled up everytime. talking to guest asking about the stay. I would like to mention Maxie who is also friendly. Ellen who helped us in checking in and making sure that our needs are met specially we have also a baby. She even offers playpen for the baby on our stay. Thank you to you wonderful service.

Though basic (it's a Super 8), the staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The room was clean as were all the public areas. The pool is kept well and the water is clean. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfy. The only negative is that the rooms are getting a little dated. Could use a refresh.

This is our perfect place to stay while visiting family in Calgary. They offer a free hot breakfast, water slide c/w hot tub, fitness room and lots of parking. Located nice and close to lots of shopping and restaurant options. Rooms are always nice and clean and staff is very friendly.

We had a great stay at this Super 8! The staff were friendly and helpful and always laughing. It was great hear. Our room was clean and the breakfast was one of the best Super 8 breakfasts we’ve had, as Super 8s usually don’t have a great variety so we appreciated the selection!

The hotel was great very helpful staff as I entered. The breakfast was very tasty with a lovely lady who was extremely kind and helpful. Her name is PARMJIT who was friendly and a wonderful woman to start anyone's day with her morning smile.Best of luck as you continue to prepare visitor's each day.

Our car broke down and they let us check out later then 11am lots of stores close by Walmart Canadian tire dollarama everything's close and staff is very friendly

I recently stayed at Super 8 for one night and unfortunately had a less-than-ideal experience. The main issue was the noise coming from the parking area where a person was using snow removal machines for over 2 hours, which made it impossible for me to sleep. When I contacted the front desk about the noise, they informed me that the snow removal company was not under their control and there was nothing they could do about it. While I understand that they may not have been able to directly control the situation, I was disappointed that the hotel did not have a better plan in place to address guest concerns.After several attempts to remedy the situation, the front desk offered me a different room, which ultimately solved the noise issue. However, it was nearly 5 am by the time I was able to get a peaceful night's sleep.Overall, I was disappointed that the hotel was not better equipped to handle this kind of disturbance, especially given that I was paying for my stay. However, I was appreciative of the staff's effort to offer me a different room, despite it being a last resort. While my stay was not as pleasant as I had hoped, I hope that the hotel will take my feedback into consideration and make improvements to ensure a better experience for future guests.
