Dundas Valley Trail Centre
Quaint railway station in the middle of the conservation area. It's a replica and never actually serviced trains. Has a sort of educational vibe inside with displays and information about the areas animals and geology. There is seating inside and outside as well as a small stall inside that sells drinks and snacks. Bathrooms are downstairs as well as port-o-potty outside. Many brochures inside for information on other areas and wildlife that can be seen in the area

The Dundas Valley Trail Centre features a replica of a Victorian train station, complete with a train car on some old railroad tracks. It’s open daily in July and August and on weekends throughout the off-season. You’ll find displays, maps, brochures, restrooms, and a concession stand inside the trail centre. I visited this place during December, 2018 with my friend.

You can bike there from the populated area of Hamilton. It's a pretty cool ride. You can stop here to rest from your ride. It's a really beautiful place where you can even have a picnic.

Grate place. There is an old rail way and Canadian Pacific train. Nicely maintained.

Dundas Conservation Area is fantastic. There are many trails which lead to ponds, creeks, ruins. Good for hiking, bike rides, picnics and horse back riding. There is parking and of course the trail center which has park information, including trail maps and event calendars. It also has washrooms and a snack bar. It looks like an old train station and even has a couple antique train cars.

Good walk! A bit tough with a stroller on some of the steeper hills but a nice scenic walk.
