Great place to eat. The food was delicious, the presentation was great. Prices were very fair, staff very friendly too. Will definitely go back. They also made homemade bread, which was very good. I bought a loaf to bring home.

The staff/owners here are so welcoming and passionate about their food. I've dined here a few times now and it is consistently good.On this day I went for the open-faced steak sandwich and fries, and added a side of gravy. The steak was absolute perfection in every bite. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries were crisp and fresh and I really made a good choice to add the gravy!You also can't go wrong with their soups and their fish and chips is a classic hit.This is definitely a place worth trying.

We had a very pleasant meal. It's a nice break having fresh homemade food from scratch. The owners circulated around the dinning area meeting and greeting.....and explaining their recipes. I had bean and bacon soup and a chicken ceasar salad and my wife enjoyed the fish and chips. Great new addition to Blacks Harbour.

My wife and I spent 3 days in beaver harbour and were so lucky to have discovered the kitchen. The food is amazingly delicious, cooked fresh. The owners and staff are very warm and inviting, making you feel right at home in their lovely harbour. Food was so wonderful we had to return on our last evening here for one more meal… oh and don’t forget your CHEESE cake!! You’ll not want to eat elsewhere.

We wanted to try a new place for our Anniversary dinner, and are so glad we chose this. We felt welcome right away, owners and staff went out of their way to make our toddler comfortable. Each person wished us a happy anniversary, they upgraded our dessert to cheesecake as a gift and gave cookies for our kid. All the food was wholesome, fresh and delicious. Well worth the hour's drive from our home. They made our day special. We highly recommend!

We were welcomed into the restaurant about an hour before closing and they served us as if we were the first customers of the day. Menu is varied enough to suit any palate and prices very reasonable. I haddock the Haddock with the soup of the day. Delicious!

Amazing gem in Black Harbour.Food was fantastic, all hand prepared and cooked to order. Fine dining level dishes, for incredibly low prices. Patio is dog friendly! They brought our pup a bowl of water right away, and mentioned they have a dog run beside the building as well!Got personally served by the owner, who is personable and the epitome of classic maritime hospitality.Family owned and operated business, couldn't recommend more! 5 stars is not enough.

Chef was so welcoming and accomadating for the vegan in our group, all our meals were delicious. Prices were amazing and the cheesecakes were to die for. I had the deep fried haddock on a bun and the batter was fluffy and crunchy and so flavorful, the homemade tartar sauce was out of this world and sweet potato fries were perfect. Would recommend to anyone, especially if your sick of the price gouging at most restaurants out here.

Deceptively low key on the outside, good vibes as soon as you step in. And the food? Outstanding! We had the bruschetta, mushroom soup, smoked chicken legs, salads and of course cheesecake. Arugula was a tad wilty but everything else was fresh, flavorful, memorable. Haven’t had such enticingly seasoned mushroom soup anywhere else (it was the daily special). Owner and staff are super kind and welcoming. Check out the Fundy Life gift store just down the road: fantastic stuff.
