Was ripped off: ordered and paid for double leg chicken as part of our order but only got one leg in the box. We live an hour away so, despite missing a leg we ate. Called the store to discuss and staff said they spoke to a manager named Sab who obviously didn’t believe us. He offered to consider a refund or remake IF we drove back. I’m not prepared to drive an hour there and back for a “Possible Refund”. Manager claimed to recall making the order and that it was correct!! Very rude and incredibly poor service. Food isn’t as good as it used to be either. No more trips to Swiss Chalet for this family!!

Came in for a quick lunch with my friend. Quick service, food came minutes after we ordered hot and fresh! Katherine was our server and she was so sweet and attentive! Wanted to leave a review because of how amazing she was :)

Vital items missed from delivery order. Called and spoke to the restaurant to arrange another delivery, a 5 min drive, and they decided not to follow through. I am livid. Being made to feel like a burden when I’ve spent money for my family to eat, paid a delivery fee, and appropriately tipped is not acceptable.

My 2nd time eating at Swiss Chalet, after my first visit in 2009. I’m a Filipino-American who ate at this Canadian restaurant chain, that is only in Canada, as there’s none in the United States. Even though, it’s equivalents are Boston Market, Cracker Barrel, Shoney’s, and Bob Evans, as they’re exclusively in the United States.

My takeout order was on-time, packed neatly, perfectly cooked, chicken was crispy and ribs were yummy. Nothing was burnt. Even the coleslaw was tasty. Certainly one of the better Swiss Chalet, if not the best, experience I have had compare to other branches in Ontario. And friendly staff at takeout counter too.

I Placed an order online at 6pm on a Sunday, only to be given a 9pm “estimated delivery time”Concerned, I placed a call with the 1-800 help number, I was told that my food was dispatched out within 25 minutes of me placing it.45 minutes passes, soI called again to get another worker on the line. I was put on a “brief hold” while she investigated. Only to be hung up on 10 minutes later.It is now past 8 pm. I call once again, I’m promised my food would arrive shortly.But I was without any shred of hope it would arrive edible at this point.I asked for my order to be cancelled, but was told I could not be helped because it had already been sent out.I finally get in contact with the restaurant themselves and I’m told that because of a lack of drivers they cancelled their “guaranteed delivery time”.I’m perplexed as to why, if they knew they couldn’t get orders out in time to be actually hot, and edible. Why would they not call their customers, so they’d be given a chance to order food elsewhere?After spending over $70 on dinner, it showed up at almost 9 pm at night!Stone cold and inedible. We were left with no other options to order in cause everything else around us had closed.I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the customer service and the compassion of this company. I have been going to Swish Chalet since I was a kid. After today I will no longer be a customer.

I just wanna shout out to the employees on how you dealt with a toxic customer who walked into the takeout today acting crazy and had nothing positive to say. The employees handled it with grace and professionalism. Service was quick, and the food is hot and delicious. Will definitely be returning.

We’ve always enjoyed Swiss Chalet and we were waiting for a special occasion to go out as a family. We took our 3 year old for his birthday. The service we received was lackluster. Our 3 year old, dressed in a birthday shirt tried to engage with the staff and was completely ignored (he was just saying hello) and overall the service was slow - simple things that we usually experience at restaurants like “checking in how the food is” or offering to refill water just didn’t happen and it was not a busy day. The food was a complete let down. The ribs had barely any meat on them and were dry - some of the worst restaurant ribs I’ve ever had to be honest and worse yet, they were cold. Not even room temperature. The hot gravy on the sandwich was cold too and the fries tasted like they were a day old - they were cold too. Unfortunately, Swiss Chalet, you’ve lost our business and we won’t be coming back.

This place is a disaster to order from. I have had two major failure delivery experiences, tonight's involved my order being over an hour before it showed on the way and then that showed it would take an hour to deliver, which updated to an hour and fifteen minutes.I called the 1-800 number only to be hung up on by the first person despite never swearing or insulting them (this is not the store). The next call back the person tried to help but it all ended up falling apart with the store again.I've been a loyal customer despite many bad experiences with food quality and service, but looks like I'm done.No one wants to eat Swiss Chalet that has been getting cold for over an hour with the driver. If you're going to fail this hard, just call the customer and give them the opportunity to order from somewhere else.

Tonight is the 3rd time I have ordered from them and again but was not good. I figured third time is a charm but nope. The chicken and sauce is cold. They sent the wrong dessert for my daughter. For our salad we were sent 3 croutons in a bag. We go no butter at all even though we requested 5. We got 4 buns but ordered 5 and we got no utensils even though we ordered them. $61 for this. It's upsetting since I like Swiss Chalet and I really tried to give this location a chance 3 different times. I added a photo of the 3 croutons but there's no point in taking a picture of cold chicken and sauce since a picture can't tell temperature. Also can't take a picture of missing items
