I have gone to many eye doctors over the years but I have never gone to one who has been so impressive as Dr. Sun!!She was exceeding kind and informative.She is the only eye doctor that I have seen who explained in detail what caused one of my eye issues.I would highly recommend Dr. Sun to anyone who is looking for an eye Dr.Jennifer Morris

This is my first time booking appointments for my family, I must say Dr.Jolene Sun is super nice and kind, She cleans the machine before we use it . Moreover, she explains everything and she really cares about what we are concerned about. Especially she take infinite patience when she checks with my two year old girl. Also reception's girl is very nice too, she cleaned everything before we used the machines to check on our eyes. Also, She is very responsible and checks information with us very carefully. We will look forward to our next visit for sure.

This is a really great facility. Eugene is excellent. He goes over all options and explains each one so you can make an informed decision. The contacts ordered for me are perfect best Rx I have ever had. Staff are helpful.

LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE.This review is long overdue. A number of years ago, prior to consulting with Dr. Jolene Sun at Vision Plus in Steveston, I was struggling to make the transition from glasses to contact lenses. I had been led to believe that I couldn't effectively wear contact lenses. No other provider wanted to take the time to patiently walk the journey with me of fitting and trialling different lenses for my complex vision needs. I was desperate as I had fallen in love with cycling and wearing glasses was limiting my enjoyment and freedom. Dr. Sun took the time to understand all my needs - vision, work and play. Fairly quickly I found out that I was not only a reasonable candidate but have actually turned out to be a GREAT candidate! I have now been comfortably wearing contact lenses on a full-time basis for all my needs - without even needing to rely on 'readers'. I have repeatedly referred my friends to Dr. Sun and her colleagues and everyone has agreed, without exception, that the service and care that they have received have been top-notch. I cannot emphasize how fortunate we are to have such a high-calibre, community-focused, small business in the community of Steveston. Thank you to Dr. Sun and the whole team at Vision Plus Steveston. I needed to replace my glasses and after a recommendation went down to Vision Plus in Richmond. 5 star treatment and service from the eye test to the frame selection and final fitting, all top notch and I might add also Very competitive pricing, in fact better than any other quote I received. All in a great buying experience at a reasonable cost.

The service here was amazing. Dr Sun was incredibly thorough (not only with the examination but also asking questions about my daily routine etc.) and described things in detail but in terms that I could easily understand - she would make a great health expert on TV! The store also had a great selection of frames and were really helpful. I ended up buying the first frame they suggested and as second one because the selection was so good. They also carry Fr!day frames which is a local brand (so you can double down by supporting local).

They were able to bill my benefits provider directly—which my previous optometrist was not able to do—so I didn’t incur any out-of-pocket expense.Dr. Sun was friendly and thorough. Very helpful and friendly staff. I got $100 discount on my 15 years old son glasses. I received the glasses today and it's excellent quality. Very recommended clinic.
