I am really disappointed... I spent hundreds of dollars buying overpriced magic the gathering cards to support my local game store. I forgot my dice pouch at the store one day and I asked the store employees if they ever saw the pouch and got told back that they never saw it. I found some of the dice I owned for sell a couple of weeks later...

Best Magic the Gathering store in Ottawa-Gatineau! Super friendly and personable staff, fun commander nights, and they always have amazing prices on singles. Always the highlight of my week when I get to drop by.

Beware. I got scammed by this company. Have email chain as proof.Will take deposits, make fake promises and not deliver product.Total bait and switch. No apology no compensation no care.In response to the reply from the owner:I asked for interest because you took a pre-order payment for a product you never delivered. This $50 deposit was accumulating interest for the store instead of in my bank for over a year. A year during which on multiple occasion the store promised me by email that they would reach out to me so that I can confirm exactly which version of the game I wanted and that they would order it for me but kept pushing back the question until they just put the product up for sale in a race. Therefore you did not fulfil your contractual agreement and made profit on my money in that time. Totally unacceptable. No compensation offered, nothing.Furthermore I have yet to see the refund appear on my card.

Used their online store to buy a Death Guard Battleforce that they said they had in stock and was told I would receive a confirmation e-mail once the item shipped. 10 days later, I'd not received an e-mail regarding the item, so sent them an e-mail and never received a response.5 days later, I had my friend in Quebec phone to inquire about the order. They said they never had the item in stock and that they would check their sister stores to see if they had any and to call back the next day.The next day my friend phoned and they admitted they couldn't find any and they never had any, so they would issue me a refund. 1 month and 5 days later, I still hadn't received my refund on the item and had to dispute the charge through my credit card company.UPDATE: After seeing this review and hearing about it for the first time, the owner reached out to me, apologized for the inconvenience and offered further support along with my refund. He said he was also looking into the events that took place leading up to it to be sure he knew exactly why this incident occurred.The owner showed me how he expected things to be handled and really went above and beyond to make me feel satisfied with the outcome. It's truly been appreciated.

So I walked into this store on my one day off for this month, and I was so excited because it looked cool from the outside. When I went inside there was this faint odor of garbage, the longer I stayed the more it permeated my nostrils. I tried my best to stay focused and shop around but soon my very grip on reality began to fade as the smell was all I could perceive. Very stinky store. Would not reccomend on a day off. Maybe a work day.

Staff was fantastic helped me with everything I needed, the store had alot if stock for the hobby which was great, definitely a great store would go to it more often if it wasn't for the distance.

wish i could give this place zero stars. the one owner dylan treated me horribly and generally runs a terrible operation. he takes advantage of all his employees, who he refers to as his ‘minions’.i would stay away.
