Vaughan Pediatric Clinic

This is the worst clinic. The reason why I still go here is because no other Pediatrician’s are accepting new patients. They expect you to know when your child needs to take their vaccines and to book that appointment 3 months in advance. God forbid you need to reschedule then your pushed another 3 months. My almost 2 year old doesn’t have his 15 or 18 months shots since I can’t even get an appointment. Great care (not).

I think this clinic would do a lot better if they had better receptionists. I've been going here since my son was a newborn and there is one receptionist (middle aged white lady, reddish brown shoulder length hair) she is always so rude! She is arrogant, dismissive and clearly hates working with the public. I always tolerated it because the doctors are good but being talked to like you're an inconvenience even when they're not busy is pathetic. I'm starting to look for a new doctor, it's not right to feel demeaned because you have questions about your appointments or call backs for referrals or to ask about your kids health. This lady needs to find a new job because she clearly hates hers.

If i’m being honest here the majority of the receptionists at this clinic are incredibly rude and i agree with the other families that have shared their personal experiences. We have been coming here for nearly 4 yrs and not once have we felt welcome coming into the clinic. Dr Tran is an incredible doctor to my children. Wonderful bedside manner , in addition to her skills as a pediatrician.Getting in touch with someone on the other line is near impossible. When you finally get through you are greeted with such despair and condescending tone that it just frustrates the hell out of u.I wholeheartedly wish that their front desk was a representation of the fantastic medical team. Working with parents and children you really have to have compassion, patience and most of all kindness.If you have read this far i sincerly thank you.Please be kind you never know what someone is going through.

Love most of the doctor hate that in the last 4 months have not been able to book an appointment to have them see my sick 2 year old. They tell me to take her to a walk-in every time I've called. Then what's the point of having a set pediatrician if they are never available to see you? Either get more doctors or stop taking in new patients as it seems you can't even see the ones you currently have. Sadly will have to start looking for a new pediatrician as I really do like Dr. Tran.

My child’s doctor office since birth (over 2 years now) and so we had walked in due to an emergency. Considering the history I had with them and seeing how far I drove there from my house (20min) they turned me back because there was no open appointments. Mind you, we got there as soon as they opened. No other clients were there. I had asked what options do I have since you no longer can book appointments online and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. She told me to wait around for 3 HOURS! Very ridiculous. At that point I went to a near by doctors office who took us immediately. Oh and the receptionists are so rude. They all have attitudes. Vaughn pediatric clinic is the worst. We no longer go here

The staff are incredibly caring and professional. Our family are new patients and feel very lucky to have such great care for our son. Dr. Hamat especially goes above and beyond, which is important for many stressed parents during the hectic post-pandemic era. I recommend all my family and friends to the clinic.

I absolutely love my doctor. I trust him completely and wish I could seek out his advice but I can’t get my sick kids in to see him. I had to fight just for a next day appointment (3 calls, escalations, etc) The reality is this clinic has taken on way too many patients. More than they can handle and now that all these kids are sick, they don’t have the capacity to see them. The doctors and staff here are stellar, they work hard and they are busy but they went past their capacity point and it’s been impacting patients ever since Covid. Sadly many families are now leaving. I so wish I could stay but our kids deserve better than just random walk in care as their primary medical attention.

Amazing doctors. But you just can't get a hold of the clinic anymore, particularly in the mornings. We used to be able to make same-day appointments but now we need to use a walk-in consistently whenever my kids need to be seen.

The website is down. Clinic DOES not accept phone calls and any voicemails that aren’t to do with cancellations they disregard. How are you supposed to make an appointment? How are you supposed to get a hold of the doctor? No wonder hospitals are full. Horrible office. Doctor is great but horrible office and how they run it. Almost as if they want to avoid all patients and parents and not take calls.

We LOVE this clinic. Couldn’t be more fortunate to have found this place. Doctors are amazing specially Dr Chmiel, Dr Rosenberg and Dr Pila. We use the email service all the time. Worth its weight in gold to be able to email directly to the doctors and the response is literally within 10 minutes. Only complaint is sometimes it’s hard to get day of appointments which is critical when child is very ill and had to beg for a newborn appointment (Dr Rosenberg saved the day seeing my little one during his lunch break). Thank you to all the incredibly hard working doctors here. This clinic is our rainbow during the sick and difficult times!
