Bought two hot dogs and a pop for what the sign said was 6 dollars, I paid 14 plus for two. Asked the counter guy what about the sign. Said it was supposed to be removed.I did go back and speak with someone and was told the offer was still good. But they wouldn't do anything about an employee overcharging me. If they do this all the time?

The last few times I went here, it's been garbage! I only came here cause the one ob the beach was packed and wanted to treat my mom for mothers day! The fish is all batter and so small! The fish from the beach strip is huge and fluffy! The fries are never cook all the way, this is my garbage from here, this location use to be good, nothing like the one on the beach strip, that's for sure

Sunday June 4, 2023 , We were the first ones here and we had poutine ,deep fried pickles and a large fish and chips , was 50$ with a tip and it was AWESOME. The food was fast ,hot , fresh , crispy, drinks ice cold , staff so friendly. We had a wonderful experience and it’s 5 blocks away from us so it’s like a tradition for us .

We've eaten at this location and the one in Burlington. A go-to for fantastic fish & chips. I'm disappointed that this location, while allowing to order ahead, does not take credit card payments. Cash only. There is an ATM on site, however service fees apply.Reason for 3 star rating is on our last order, I made the mistake of getting a corned beef sandwich which cost about $8. It was horrible! Literally dried pieces of meat on even drier rye bread. Didn't even bother with mustard. It was barely edible. Shameful they would charge so much for something so atrocious. Stick to fish & chips to avoid disappointment. Ice cream is good too in summer time.

Went over to Hamilton for a day-trip and stop by Hutch's for a quick bite. We ordered a few things and were pleasantly surprised by the portions. Good price and value for money for what we got.The Fish Tacos were great with the toppings, and the Fish Burger was quite good. The batter-fried Mozzarella Sticks and Pickles were a nice accompaniment too.

Good and authentic but not amazing. The location, views and general atmosphere is great. However, the food could be a lot better for the price. The fish and chips was really really oily, although the portion was good.

Worst service and experience ever. The entire property smelt like garbage. The worker at the front taking the orders was terribly rude. We are returning customers to Hutches On The Beach but wanted to change it up and go to the other location. NEVER again. There are so many amazing places to eat in the city that would appreciate your business. Dont waste your time coming here.

Been going here for years, and I'm never disappointed! Great fish and chips served with awesome gravy! Staff is always very friendly, a nice place to bring the family for lunch or dinner, and grab some ice cream too! Highly recommend them!

So tried this place heard a lot about it.So I had the 2 piece fish and chip meal.Not really impressed the fish is mostly batter and super greasy. Way to expensive for Quality. I would not eat here again. On the other hand their ice cream looks really good.

We were so disappointed with this visit. Came for lunch and ordered 2 fish sandwiches which came to almost 27.00... was shocked at the cost considering there were no fries or drinks included. When the sandwiches came it was even a bigger disappointment. There was a tiny little piece of fish on each one and one small piece of lettuce. 1 package of tarter sauce on the side for each. I asked the girl if that was right and she said it was a half a piece of fish on each sandwich. There is no way... It was more like a half a piece of fish cut in half. That is a ridiculous amount of money for getting a child size sandwich and nothing else with it. We will not be back.
