Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
Just had bad experience here, it is raining in Calgary after the dinner, we tried to get some garbage bags to help keeping from getting too wet, they said they don’t have any garbage bags, which i really don’t believe, their attitude showed they have no interest to help or care. The amount of food is small, and tasty is not really as expected. I don’t think I will come back.

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
Pretty good. Great service. Speedy and accurate. Very polite and informative. Food flavors were as expected but not as flavourful or fragrant or in regards to the fish, as fresh as I have been lucky enough to have in other places. They have interesting variety and many good menu selections maybe I just missed on their specialty. I would come back for a casual meal. The food was very reasonably priced. As usual with Chinatown, parking can be tricky.

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
Great service when we went for dinner. The menu had quite a few options that it was confusing to pick. Finally chose some rice with Taiwanese chicken in hot pot. The plating and presentation was visually appealing and so was the taste. The chicken dish was in a mild curry base with a pleasant flavour of peanuts. It paired well with the sticky rice. They also have a variety of Chinese liquor and beer, so I got a Tsingtao beer to wash everything down. Would visit again.PS: finding parking was difficult but found a paid one nearby.

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
Great food, coming out fresh and hot. Service was quick and pleasant. We really enjoyed the beef and cucumber roll. Soup dumplings were also a solid choice.

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
I LOVE this restaurant. Great food if you are looking for authentic Chinese. They have the best soup dumplings in the city! Aside from the delicious food, the service is fast, and very friendly. I have been here many times and will be back many more!

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
If you are after authentic Chinese food, this is not the place to go. Ordered sweet and sour pork and another dish (not sure what it's called in English) and they tasted almost exactly the same. One should be sweet and sourish (as the name) and the other should be sweet and savoury but the sauces were exactly the same. Fedback to the waitress who served us and we were corrected" in that they were supposed to be like that. The other Great Taste in the NE (near John G. Diefenbaker High School) is more authentic and I suppose being in downtown means catering to non-Chinese clientele

As its name implies, a Chinese restaurant with some great tasting dishes for a quite reasonable price. Staff are polite, washrooms were clean, and nothing to complain about. Definitely would come again

little to no meat on the portions. We order chicken with brokolis the price was $20 and the ratio of the portion was 92% brocolis and 8% maet, which comparing with the other places, is way too expensive. Definitely not worth the price.Same thing with the chilli chicken, $20 with 75% pepper and 25% meat.I don't recommend it.

Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
Excellent experience at Great Taste! Came in prior to noon on a Wednesday, no wait for a table. Great service, atmosphere, and fantastic food. As most of the reviews state, the soup dumplings are a must have. Green beans were another personal favourite. Will be back again.
