This place was perfect for us in every way. It sits right at the head of the Cabot trail and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. If you are traveling with a pet you should contact them directly so that they can arrange a special room for you. The views were amazing! I highly recommend this place

Very clean and immaculate rooms with a beautiful view. But more importantly this was first class customer service. They allowed our dog to stay in the room an hour after check out so we could go eat breakfast and he wouldn’t have to wait in the car, we accidentally broke some blinds and they were very understanding! And we left our computer charger there and they offered to mail it back right away. They took our stress away immediately and we are very appreciative. Highly recommended. I know we will be returning

Hidden gem of a motel on the Cabot Trail. We had a very comfortable weekend stay for a friend's wedding at the nearby Gaelic College. The room was well heated and insulated for winter and had all the basic amenities. We arrived after dark and were treated to a surprise spectacular view from our window. Tina was very nice and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. This motel also has pet friendly rooms - our friends stayed a few doors down from us with their husky and didn't have any issues. Highly recommended!

Convenient, spacious apartment style accommodations will all the amenities you would need for a few days or longer. We stayed 2 nights and on the 2nd night, after driving the cabot trail and buying fresh lobster from a fishery, we cooked a surf and turf style dinner using tools and pots from their well equipped kitchen and bbq! It could use a fee updates but for the price, it was great!

I used St Anne's motel as a launch pad to explore all of Cape Breton. It's about an hour and a half from anywhere. It was easy to go up the Eastern side of Cape Breton. And just as easy to go up the western side of Cape Breton. Also close to Sydney and Louisburg. All locations were about the same amount of time from St Ann's. So, I didn't do a lot of hotel jumping. Just stayed here. Made things easier. Rooms were not lavish but very comfortable and clean . Shower was excellent... No issues with running out of hot water. Nice scenery and friendly staff... Helpful as well. Overall a great stay!

St. Ann's Motel is set in beautiful surroundings. Looking out the large motel windows in our room, we woke to the sound of Loons, endless views of water, a shoreline of trees and beauty. Our room was clean, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. The location is right on the Cabot Trail. The price is great. I would definitely stay at St. Ann's Motel, again.

The location is great right at the very start of Cabot Trail. We got to the motel a little late & called Vince just before we got there. Like magic Vince was at the office when we arrived. He showed us around and gave us some good tips & information of things to do in the area. Upon making the reservation we had spoken to Vince & Tina. We never got to meet Tina but we wish her a quick recovery. We're giving a 4* for the room as it is a little dated as for example old carpet. Otherwise, the room #7 is very spacious and a beautiful view of the water. If we are ever in the area would go back because the room is clean, comfortable and fully equipped.Thank you VincePamela & Andy (Montreal, Quebec)

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms were immaculate. The view from the huge window made you feel as if you were at the edge of the water. We did not want for a thing. In fact we learned about the area, the folklore and the history of the peoples who settled and still live their today. Thank you Vince for making it truly a memorable stay and one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the Maritime Providences.

Such a cozy place with a beautiful view! Hosts were pleasant and helpful. My little pup enjoyed exploring the beach, which is literally right in the back yard. Only stayed one night to catch the ferry but will definitely book when I come back around!

This was the easiest stay experience that I've ever had, including dog friendly experience. The staff contacted me directly through text to let me know that everything was ready for me and where to find the key. They were extremely helpful and personable throughout our stay there and it made our visit very relaxing. The room and bathroom was extremely clean. We showed up at night and didn't realize until morning when we opened the blinds from the large water-facing window that there was an incredible view of the Cape-Breton landscape. Anyone interested in staying in the area can expect to get a pleasant rest at this lovely motel.
