Bulk Barn

I love bulk barn! This is my local location, so I might be biased, but I feel this bulk barn is larger and less crowded than some of the others I have been to. They have a wide selection of bulk items--everything you need to bake, cook, or just to snack!If you are a baker, you will love their selection of Wilton products--gel colouring, cake decorating tools, etc.There are also a few different brands of fondant, cake boards, cookie cutters, and even cake pans for rent.You are sure to spend a lot of time just looking through 100s of bins full of different foods--awesome candies, snacks, pastas, and more!Oh and remember to check for coupons--they often have a $3.00 off $10.00 or more purchase, and on Wednesdays is Student and Senior Discount day--10% off your order!For all those trying to be more environmentally friendly, they also have a program where you can fill reusable jars--no more plastic bags!The staff are quite knowledgeable about their products, and are either at the cash register working or you will find them around the store tidying up. Always working to keep the store looking its best.There is ample parking outside in the shared parking lot, and you can use a shopping cart or basket for your purchases, if you wish.Thanks for all the things you offer, Bulk Barn!

Manager was too busy on personal phone call to help customers. Tried to say it was with another store.

Went to check it out and see what chocolates they have, walked out with some kilograms of snacks I've never heard of before. 10/10 would do again

NO STAR IF POSSIBLE!!Don't get me wrong. I love bulk barn! I always shop here for my spices and baking needs and lately I buy their snacks. I had a bad experience in this location today. The cashier refused to honor my coupon as she did not see it" it was sitting on top of my purchases! Never apologized that it was her fault and was really rude towards me. She was talking to me like I do not speak english. too bad i didn't catch her name but she is white

Most convenient economical place to buy spices. I wish they would consider replacing plastic bags with reusable ones or paper, perhaps?

I like the Bulk Barn's program for bringing your own containers. They are happy to weigh the containers before you fill them so you don't get charged for the weight of the container. With a little planning ahead its easy to shop this way. Not everything there is cheaper than the mainstream grocery stores, but it depends what you're looking for. Spices and loose leaf tea are both a pretty good deal. My dog likes the dog treats. Also decently priced package-free soaps. It's also really nice to choose the quantity you want.

If No Star" were an option

This is the Bulk Barn that I visit regularly and I've never had any issues. During today's visit I purchased some Sour JuJubes that I love so much, but was disappointed to get home and discover they were actually the regular jujubes. I called the store to let them know they may have their bins mixed up, but the manager told me that I took from the wrong bin and refused to believe me or go taste them. While I was in the middle of responding to him he rudely hung up on me. I'm disappointed to say the least and will now go out of my way to visit an alternate store rather than support this location and their extremely rude manager. Sorry Bulk Barn but you've lost a regular customer if this is how you treat me when I was simply calling to help you out.
