I posted an ad on a local Facebook residents page for help with a flooring project. I had a quick turnaround time to list my home for sale. The office manager responded and promised they could complete the project on a Saturday. I signed the contract and paid a 50% deposit. On Saturday 7 minutes before the contractor was due to arrive, I was contacted by the office manager to advise that he was stuck out of town and wouldn’t be able to make it. She promised he would arrive on Sunday between 7 and 9 AM. I got up early and 9 AM came and went. No one showed up. I contacted the office manager who referred me to the owner. The owner followed up and around 11 AM I was advised the contractor overslept and would arrive by 5 or he would personally come and do the job. He also promised to discount the remaining balance. At 3:30, the contractor calls me and asks if he can come the next day. He also claimed he was out of town on a job. The stories didn’t match up. This was unsatisfactory so I reached out to the owner again who promised me someone else would come out in 36 minutes. An hour and a half later, no one was there. I messaged the owner and heard absolutely nothing back from him until 10 Pm. Meanwhile, the office manager attempted to help me get in touch with the owner. She had no luck either. I was then advised the contractor would come out Monday by 8:30. The contractor arrived as he was scheduled and completed the job. The job was satisfactory. As it was time to discuss payment, we wanted to discuss the discount and we were offered 10% off. We asked for roughly 25% off and the owner agreed, but wanted to us to not write a review on the poor service and the unreliability. We ultimately declined that and decided to pay the full amount to provide a completely honest review of this company. It’s unfortunate that he wanted to bribe us with a discount to withhold the truth from the masses. One would think he would accept making it right and take the 3 star review. He claimed his delay in response was because his wife was in an accident. If that’s true, I completely get that, but if you’re a business owner and a paying client has been through a terrible experience, you check in. It made me wonder if the good reviews are truly valid and now I’m completely questioning the integrity of this business. On another note, since he knew we would be honest, he blocked me from his business Facebook so I can’t write a review. I’ll navigate through that and make my experience known on every outlet possible. Ultimately the owner is unprofessional and he uses unreliable subcontractors. He didn’t fully own up to the issues and wanted to place blame on others. Your employees represent your business. Please take note if you schedule work with them that they are not reliable. I do want to call out that Ashley the office manager was amazing, empathetic, and helpful. She is what makes that business even remotely successful. Thank you Ashley.

Jay and his team are top notch professionals. We got True Colors to paint our entire downstairs and the only thing I wish I’d done differently is gotten them to paint my upstairs too. We went with Agreeable Gray, which was recommended by Jay. Perfect color!! We love their work so much we will be using them to hang chandeliers this week and once we move into our new home we’ll be calling them to remove carpet and put in new flooring. We are lifetime customers!! Thanks again, Jay!

Jay was recommended by a friend, and boy are we grateful! He came out to our new house and measured for window blinds. He helped me place the order through the manufacturer and even suggested some really important upgrades that saves us time, money, future aggravation lol. Then he came back out and installed it all for us for a very fair price. Windows look like perfection now and we could not be happier with the service provided by Jay and his crew!

I called True colors painting & More LLC for a home we wanted to sell. The experience was great. From the lady that scheduled the estimate to when Jay came to look at my home I had no complaints what so ever. When Jay and the guys came out to complete the work they were very clean and professional the entire time. I have had so many bad experiences with contractors I was nervous in the beginning. But jay and his crew made sure to take care of my home as if it was there own. I can’t thank them enough. And best of all my house sold in less then 4hours. They did such a wonderful job I am going to be calling them to paint our new home. Thank you Jay, you really helped take some of my fears away with using contractors.

Recently was on the look out for a remodeling company to help with a full kitchen remodel for one of my rental properties. When I say my kitchen was totally destroyed from previous renters it was in shambles i was in tears how the renters let this happen. I decided to start searching the web and came across Trucolorsrva.com and visited the site and viewed every category about 100 times. After looking at several other remodeling businesses I gave Tru Colors a call and was pleasantly surprised how all of my questions and concerns were answered in such Thorough manner. I decided to go ahead and take a leap and scheduled. The work was scheduled for 3 weeks and the crew was able to finish ahead of schedule and when I would ask for updates was answered in a timely manner, the actual kitchen was totally transformed and I could not have been happier. I am writing this review because I saw the negative one and was really speechless and I want everyone to know that experience is not at all what I saw from Jay and his team. I hope this helps anyone that is in the market for a new kitchen!
