Angry Otter Liquor @ City Gate

This place has become my go to place for alcohol since moving to this side of town. The staff are helpful, the stock seems to be almost on point every time I call in, the prices are very good. They stock a wide selection of ciders and ales which I find very useful. Keep up the excellent service. Well done.

I actually try to only go to this liquor store on this side of town because of how great the staff is , every time I come in they’re so friendly & funny .Amazing customer service , even better people.

Much friendlier group of people working there now! They go above and beyond, and the prices are pretty good as well ! Lost my bank card there once, and one staff member literally searched me out on Facebook to let me know where it was! I'd been in earlier, and a different staff member kind of ignored my enquiry about my bank card, so I went and ended up getting a new one, but have literally loved going here ever since, the second employee that searched me out, even sent me a photo of my card all cut up, etc. Was really impressed with the effort ! Huge selection of items as well ! Only reason they got 4 stars is location...they are kind of far away from where I live, but I think it qualifies for 4.5 stars, but it wouldn't let me do 4.5 ! Recommend this place much more often now !

my purchase's shelf price was advertised as $25.49 but the register price was more at $27.93 (both before tax)advised staff member who was indifferentI rechecked the shelf price which was cheaper @ $25.49. Andrea then checked the shelf, removed price ticket and refunded the difference without apology

Wide ranging selection of interesting wines and liquors. Also quiet a number of labels not found in the BC Liquor stores... certainly can recommend.

Some of the best prices I have seen on my favorite products, the store was very clean on my first visit and the staff were very friendly and eager to assist me in finding what I was looking for. The store has a very nice layout with a vast selection to choose from. I will definitely be returning to get my beer from this store
