We arrived and sat at our table, the server did finally come to the table and brought menus. There was no offer for beverages at this time and never throughout our waiting was there any water offered to the table.When the drinks were finally ordered and an appetizer we received our drinks fairly quick, but the appetizers took 45 minutes. And the Tiger" shrimp cocktail consisted of 7 shrimp that seemed they come from a shrimp ring. The 5 plates of food come out 1 at a time. The food was less then sub par. The fish and chips were like a frozen dinner. Yes it was very busy at the time with a total of 11 customers in the place.The food was terrible

Since relocating to the Burin Peninsula we've been looking for dining out opportunities, today we discovered this gem that has been added to our list. Great atmosphere with friendly service combined with good food made for a dining experience we loved and think you will to. Birthday dinner consisting of the Admiral feast (pan fried scallops, shrimp and cod with fries) and pan fried cod with fries were excellent.

Went for the first time as a party of 6. We waited for 2 hours for our food and when it arrived the chicken and ribs were dry and overcooked and the scallops were straight up raw. 2 tables that came in 30 to 40 minutes after our table received their food before our table did. Observing and watching it is very obvious that this restaurant is understaffed and the kitchen is in complete disarray and the 6 of us will not be back - extremely poor service and experience. We understand that this is a new owner but these basic necessities should have been in place before opening your doors.

Food is standard, service is poor. Asked for pan fried shrimp instead of battered/deep fried and wasn't told it would be an extra $9! The waitress also didn't tell me that getting a baked potato instead of fries would be another $1.50. When cashing out I objected and said I should have been informed of all the extras. The lady agreed but did nothing about it. She claimed it was more work to pan fry shrimp than to batter and deep fry them. There are 4 of us here on business for 3 days and we will not be going back. They don't care about customer satisfaction.

We visited while on a staycation, on a weekday. The restaurant wasn't busy during the time we were there (lunch). Service was great. We ordered an app and meal. Fish and chips were decent. If in the area, this is where you want to stop and eat. Free parking out front.

It’s edible I guess, but nothing special. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and you could tell the shrimp was frozen prior. The cocktail sauce must’ve been purchased at sobeys. Called once and asked if they catered to people with gluten allergies and they had no idea what that meant. Interesting...
