The Boathouse
Located under a nice seating deck is also a patio style dining area, a paddle boat rental, and of course the river cruise. This cruise is about 45 min long, and was a great way to relax, take in the water sounds, look at some amazing houses by the bank, and enjoy the sights of the different birds going about their day.Tickets can be bought on location, and there is also a public washroom for use above, accessible by stairs as well as a ramp-like walkway.

Staff were rude, unprofessional, and dismissive to polite guests. Experience is over-priced but they have a monopoly. Here is the back-story: My family and I were visiting with family in the area. My children really wanted to go on the paddle boats and there was one left at the launch. I inquired about renting the boat from the grey- haired older male staff member and was told: The bodies need to be here in front of me for me to rent the boat". So I pointed to my son who was about 5m away from me feeding the ducks and said

Awesome, friendly staff. Very helpful at helping us get in the water. Paddle boating was fun - saw ducks, swans, a Heron. Beautiful scenery.

I had a wonderful time on the paddle boats today with my daughter & grandsons. The staff were very friendly & especially helpful with the little ones. They had a blast & we enjoyed the beauty of Stratford.

The boating club is a place that betters the beautiful Avon river and the alluring garden alongside.The river, with the picturesque garden in the prepossessing city which is well- known as the birth place of Shakespeare and famous for its theaters, is one of the great tourist attractions in Ontario.If you like to enjoy a boat ride, you can hire a paddle or a rowing boat, or a canoe, or a kayak, on an hourly basis.Additionally, the club house has a cozy restaurant and a inviting patio.

My boyfriend and I rented a paddle boat for 1 hour. The river was very scenic and we had a lot of fun. Prices are also reasonable and the man helping us was super kind. Even though we came back a bit late, he didn't charge us extra. 10/10 would definitely come here again.

The river cruise was beautiful. Scenic spot The staff was kind and helpful especially the driver I wasthere with a person I support who needed a lot of reassurance to get in the boat and the driver was amazing he even played a song on repeat on the boat so that she was calm. Loved it

Very enjoyable 30 minute river cruise. Very relaxing way to see a part of Stratford. There was no wait time, we paid for our tickets, boarded and within minutes we were on our way. All the staff members were very friendly. Would definitely recommend everyone to take time to enjoy a ride!
