Gallan's Miramichi River Tubing

not worth it at all... 2 person 92$ with no coller tube... and took 2hrs to do the 4hrs trip. Never again at this price... sorry

Fun activity to do in the Miramichi, especially on a hot summer day. We did the short run, which took just shy of 2 hours.When you arrive, there are bathrooms and change rooms. There is also a key-drop to leave your car keys so you don’t risk losing them in the river. After buying your ticket, a bus brings you to the start area. It’s about a 10 minute bus ride.From the start zone, you pick your tube (take note - some have cup holders built in, but not all). They provide straps to tie several peoples tubes together, which is great. Highly recommend getting a cooler tube if you have anything you want to bring on the river with you.There were some rocky sections where you have to walk a bit if the water is low. Make sure you were sturdy shoes (ideally water shoes).

Excellent experience for my family. Took the smaller one but will definitely return next season. I was a little worried about depth and not knowing swimming. Not a concern anymore. We enjoyed a lot!

We went in a very good day. The experience was superb! They provide cooler floaters but we don’t know that until we were on the site and saw the floaters. Hahaha

An absolute MUST!!!!Went this past weekend with my husband, and brother. We did the longer tour which is called the rapid run. it apparently usually takes around 4 hours (more if you stop for a picnic on the banks) The trip took about 2.5 hours in total but that was only because the river was so high, due to two straight weeks of solid rain. The rapids were not rapid, because the river was really high, and there was nowhere to stop on the sides, but again due to the river being high.and not the norm conditions.You can see the fish swimming up river which is pretty cool, and sometimes you can feel them swim pass underneath you. But they don't really touch you.Spring for the cooler floaty, it is worth the extra 20 bucks. You can use it as a footrest which makes it extra comfyFor July 2nd the water was quite warm and we were the only ones on the river, so it was an absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience. We didn't bring a camera because we weren't sure how bumpy it could get. You probably can but I wouldn't risk it. I would recommend doing the rapid over the shorter run. The short run seems a little short and for 10 dollars more you get an additional 2 hours of fun and the scenery is stunning.The staff are all friendly and on it !!!! They shuttle you up to the starting point, let you pick your tube, give you tie ups to attach your tubes togeather. They are also there to help you out at the drop off, so no worries you won't miss it.WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK!!!!!

Good price for the tubes!The short one was a bit shorter than I expected but the current effects that.You have to get into the water and tubes yourself if you have any mobility issues, this is not recommended. (i have bad knee issues and I struggled)

Nice family time spending. Although wouldn't go there the second time. Don't go there when it's 25 or above, might get burned , especially on long ride. Overall, nothing fancy. You get to the point, bus then takes you up the river, you pick the tube and just ride down.

Prices are very high and river run is very short. Finished the longer run in under 75 minutes

Nice runs for a full days fun or a quick couple of hours on the short run. Great service and comfortable tubes.
