Lowe's Home Improvement

This is my favorite garden center by far. They have a wide variety of plants and garden tools to choose from. Price can very high at times in comparison to other garden centers but when you come at a right time. They do have great discounts and clearance as well.

Visited the garden centre at this location yesterday. Before going I had high hopes, thinking the plants would be good quality and well maintained. WOW was I ever wrong. I was seeking annual flowers, pansies, petunias, marigolds etc. I found no marigolds. The pansies were sadly disgusting! The stock was scant and what they had were terrible. The 6- plant boxes were so full of dead plant material it was killing the rest of the plants. I would've bought more, if there had been more to choose from. I would NOT recommend this location. Other customers were more helpful than the staff!!! I would give 1/2 a star if I could, just for being open!

Staff is not helpful and not knowledgeable about the products or even simple construction projects.I went there looking for wallpaper glue and it took 3 people and over 30 mins for them to figure out what I was talking about. No one would admit they did not have it in stock either. A sales associate literally suggested I use Elmer's white school glue...Go to Home Depot if you want even the most basic advice or if you appreciate sales people who have heard of basic construction supplies stocked by a hardware store.

When I visited this store and bought ceramic tiles and a door, a staff member at the lumber check out told me about the really good clearance prices. This employee was really helpful and friendly. So I came back the next day and I found unbelievable good prices and really friendly staff. I even dealt with the store manager and he was beyond a doubt, the most courteous,friendly, and caring store manager that I have ever met.

I shopped here quite often purchasing building supplies for variios home renovations. I went to return 2 items, and having misplaced the receipt, was informed iit was not possible to even do an exchange. I will never shop here again. home depot allows returns much easier and there has never been an issue at all returning items there (receipt/no receipt). the clerk also informed me that one of the items was discontinued so they couldn't accept a return on it anyway. Long story short - home depot, Canadian tire, home hardware , princess auto , the list goes on and on all have an easy return system that should be adopted by lowes.I have since resolved this at the Grandview store. The customer service at that store was a bit more reasonable and allowed me to show proof of purchase through my visa statement.

Unreliable, unprofessional and inefficient procedures (too many middleman to get a single job done). Had to call at 5+ times to schedule a single installation appointment that they dont even follow up. They said they will call back 1-2 days before the schedule date...but they never did. We had to personally call them to remind them of the appointment, but all they said they will pass on the massage to the contractor and hopefully they will call us back. But they never did (it has passed that time now). They also got the times of installation wrong too when i reminded them of the appointment.They kept calling the wrong phone number that we requested to be called from. We are totally unsatisfied. Its a false advertise to say that it guarantees the job being done.

If I can give a zero star, I will definitely go with zero. I just had the worst shopping experience at this Lowes location this afternoon. My husband bought a replacement battery for our lawn mower this afternoon. After he came back home and opened the package, he found the battery inside the packaging was not the same model number he paid for. He went back to the store and tried to get a replacement. He was rejected by all the store associates who implied he tried to return something which was not purchased there. I had to join in my husband and went back to the store for the second time in the evening. The store manager was adamant that the exchange was not possible even though eventually after we showed all the possible proof, he did exchange for us unwillingly. I was super frustrated and desperate about this whole experience and still could not believe this is some shopping experience I could possibly have in Canada. Seemingly the store does not want to be behind their products and services and they treat average customers like us with no trust and respect. No wonder that store looks like a ghost town with absolutely no business. My family won't shop there any more, not a chance! What is the point of talking to your Customer Care team? Just admit you don't really care about customers!

First time shopping at Lowe's and it'll be my last. Placed an order online for pickup, received an email saying it's ready for pickup after a day, go to pick it up, only one item is in the locker. The rest of my order was canceled without my knowledge for items that the website showed was in stock. I didn't receive any emails about the cancelation but apparently they left me a voicemail. After looking for other similar products and having zero stock, I asked someone for help and after 5mins they told me the hardware guy is on a break and they pretty much can't help me. This is why Amazon is taking over everything. Just save yourself time and headache and go to literally anything else but Lowe's.

We are currently in Lowe’s new Westminster. We were asking for a quote about flooring, we are new to the renovation world and full of questions.We were talking to an associate, and I look behind me, and two other staff were standing around talking and making fun of us. As soon as I turned to look, they saw me and stopped talking and laughing. They had been looking and laughing at us for a while but I finally looked back and saw them in the process.We will get our quote, but will not be back. What an unwelcoming and uncomfortable feeling.

I used like to shopping here but now i have an awful shopping experience. Sales person mislead us to waste 2 more weeks to get the washing machine installed, no one help so we did that by ourselves. Sales promised us to follow up but no one contact us till today.
