I have eaten at New York Fries many, many times since the 90’s. A couple of weeks ago I went to the Hillside mall location and ordered my usual Bacon Double Cheese Poutine. When they put the cheese sause on the poutine it came out looking like water (clear and runny). The poutine tasted like absolute GARBAGE!!! I went back to the counter for them to make it right. They told me that the cheese had changed and that’s what I get. I said “This is unacceptable and I want a refund”. They refused so I threw the poutine in their garbage right in front of them! I went to a different mall today and checked. The cheese is the NORMAL YELLOW CHEESE as always and they said they never had it changed! The Hillside mall location is a bunch of dishonest employees who have no clue what customer service is. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

Went to this location last week, even though they are crazy busy their service was so amazing and i ordered bacon and cheese poutine, it was so delicious. I totally recommend.

I am unhappy with services today .I went to have poutine.But staff didn’t pored enough gravy.I enjoyed fries at the top but the bottom of fries had no gravy.When I asked for more they said we cannot give you more gravy.So,I end up eating remaining fries with ketchup.

Just ordered from skip the dishes, ordered a hot dog and assemble your own poutine, same order for 2 people. $56 dollars and the fries were half cooked, soaked in grease. Literally inedible. Never been so disappointed in a skip order and I’ve had some bad ones. The hot dog was barelyCooked. Almost not even luke warm when biting into it. I’ll literally never order skip from here again in myEntire life. The order came fast, it was like it was too good to be true, turns out they forgot to fully cook it.

Decided to grab a quick bite here before shopping.The service was great but the “Premium hotdog with chilli and cheese with onions was bland and flavourless.I definitely won’t be getting it again.However if will try some of the multitude of varieties of fries/ poutines and several other variations they offer soon.

Visited Hillside Mall New York Fries Location yesterday. The staffwas cheerful and delivered your signature poutine perfectly.The girls suggested to add extra curds and gravy. The poutine was enjoyable and very satisfying.

Terrible service by the front staff. I ordered a simple dipper combo for takeout and asked for regular drink and the staff tried to force me into going for a large drink because it’s only 20c extra, judging my order when I mentioned I don’t need that much. I also paid extra to upgrade my fries to medium/ regular instead of small but he gave me a small portion instead. Like the food but they need to improve on customer service.
