Native Art Gallery Indigenous art , Native Art Oakville | Native Art Gallery showcases an impressive array of Native and Inuit art, featuring Inuit sculpture, prints and fine art created by Canada’s first peoples. These works are displayed within our contemporary art gallery and present an interesting juxtaposition between avant-garde and traditional works of art. We believe that Native and Inuit art are able to convey the natural wonder and rich history of Canada through the beauty of the animals and legends represented through these artworks. The art of the Inuit peoples has also become an internationally recognizable symbol of Canadian art and culture especially the Inukshuck which became international recognition as a symbol of Canadian culture when it was chosen to represent Canada during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
