Joanne is an exceptional therapist. I had a terrible triad injury on my right elbow. She made multiple splints for me right arm to help me get full range of motion as quickly as possible. She was kind and very helpful throughout this painful process. She is very knowledgeable in her field as well.

I would highly recommend Joanne, she is very kind,funny, and a very dedicated and excellent hand therapist. She called me at home personally to make an appointment with her. She measured my arthritic finger for two silver rings which are a night and a day splint. She spend the time to kindly order them from Latvia. She put a rush on the order which then arrived within the week instead of 4-8 weeks. Then a free follow up appointment to make sure they fit.That is great service

I was reffered to Dr. Joanne for a splint and if needed, hand therapy as I broke my right hand. I was disappointed with the heavy cast I had at first, specially when I had to have it for 6 weeks. The splint was light and small and I couldn't belived that it protects my hand so well and I would be able to do my everyday tasks as if nothing happened! Now there is no need for hand therapy and everything is perfect thanks to Dr. Joanne. She is responsive and patients will receive free splint repairs if needed as well.

I’ve just received the splint and I simply can’t get over the awe!It is way better than I’ve expected! It has all the cool stuff in it! It looks UTTERLY AWESOME and most importantly… my wrist is truly protected and in place!It’s amazing how confortable it is and I don’t think I’d take it off very often. I have a very old scaphoid fracture that ended in my bone attached to another, loss of blood in the bone and arthritis… rather uncomfortable after 20years.Now my hand is secured against sudden moves and painful hits and my wrist is that little bit pressed which makes the difference by taking the pain away.This splint looks pure wicked and it does the job like a champion!I can’t thank Joanne enough for this splint. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!

Joanne Smith is an amazing hand therapist who is extremely gifted in the work she does. I have been a patient of Joanne's for over 10 years and each time I needed her help with my wrist injuries, she would take the time to really figure out the issue, manage the pain and custom make my splints. Her kindness and empathy shows in her level of care and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a good hand therapist. She is well known and respected as a leader in the industry.

In January 2023, I cut two tendons in my left index finger and after surgery I started looking for a hand therapist close to home. Out of sheer luck, Joanne Smith happened to be around the corner from my apartment and I couldn't imagine anyone else getting me the rehab and treatment that I needed. She has incredibly vast, rounded knowledge of hands and their treatment and will find what best works for you with fast and effective results.
