Enersource was processional and always willing to resolve the issues but since they merged with Alectra its all downhill from there. They like to blame customers for their incompetence.

Alectra - I feel like puking thinking about how they can be called a company, leave alone comparing them. Enersource was very professional and customer centric. Worst / Rude customer service with absolutely no understanding what service means! Billing transition, communication from Enersource to this stupid name is a disaster - I get a call saying call us back. What if I have multiple properties, what is this about? why should i call you back? Its such a joke! So sad city allows such companies to interact with the citizens...Sad!

From my experience this was a great company to work for. Bosses treated their employees respectfully and they did everything they could to give me extra work to extend my contract. Even though it was an entry-level contract job it was the highest paid full-time job I've had.

submitted a service upgrade request that haven't gotten any sort of responses for almost 2 months. they asked me to call them weekly to check the status and what they can answer is to call them next week without giving me the reason why the service is pending. The waiting time is always long and the answers are always ruthless

Worst company ever. They have no idea how their systems work when you call them to change anything. I changed banks and they keep trying to take it out of my old accounts and then charging me for bounced payments even though I updated my account with new banking info. I then started paying by visa right when I get my bill. They still tried taking it out of my old account and I keep getting charged nsf fees. No one can help me there and I keep having to pay these fees. Worst part is: I can’t change companies.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. If your facing any issue regarding their services, they don't not care at all. They wont assist you and will tell you upfront that you are on your own. It is absolutely wrong that they do not handle disputes. Wrong business practices. I hope they change the manner in which they handle their customer disputes in the near future.

Alectra is ruthless even in Covid-19. My tenant left my property without notice. He did pay his Alectra dues till October 31, 2020 though. I came to know about this when I visited my property on November 18, 2020. My tenant was not there and I found Alectra disconnected the electricity as well in fidget cold. How come they can disconnect electricity within 15 days in covid 19 , when landlords can't even collect the rents, can't evict and cant disconnect the services they pay for. I called Alectra for the restoration, everything was fine but Alectra(Nanadani) said that you have to be present at the property from 12 to 4pm . I requested her give me one hour time slot cause it is very cold, I have to take off from work, She rejected, and said its against Alectra Policy. She also said sorry we do not give courtsey call either, you YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT SITE FOR FOUR HOURS regardless of weather. In other words Alectra do not care if you die during four hours in this fridget cold. Please advise me what to do to change Alectra policy. Are we living in Canada? or our calls go to India or china where the do not understand weather condition here. Oh yeah I visited Alectra office (24 hours service) for the restoration as well but there was no one there. You just press the 02 number there to enter but bell keeps ringing. Is Canada becoming a third world country?

I have had terrible experience dealing with them. They can't seem to get simple request right and instead penalize their customers for their mess up.

1- calling for any sort of customer service is paint fully slow, be prepared to wait for 30-60 minutes to speak to someone, and every time they transfer you that wait time repeats itself.2- random power outages, not long but regular and highly unacceptable. Anywhere from 20 seconds to 45 minutes3- called for a service upgrade and took 4 transfers to speak to the right person, I was on the phone over 2 hours and spent no longer than 15 minutes speaking with people.4- in all fairness once you speak to the right person they offer prompt service but getting there is the issue, I think they half 10% of the staff they need.

Awesome Customer Service, i talked to a lady named Claire and she went above and beyond all expectations. She actually even called me back to make sure all my concerns were addressed later that day! very impressive.
