Hertz Car Rental - Mississauga - Hurontario Novotel Hotel HLE

This is by far the worst Hertz branch I dealt with. The front desk guy(his name starts with S) wanted to charge me for returning the car to another office an additional $50, while other offices dont. Also he wanted to charge me $35 for the full electric charge for the rented tesla, while other offices allow returning the car with 20-30% charge. Never deal with them again and stay away pf them

Booked a full size car a lot prior to the trip, they didn't have one so they gave us a mid size/standard car (without any discount or reduced rate), which was a lot smaller for our trip and made the entire experience very uncomfortable

Complete nightmare. If I could give zero starts I would. The absolute worst experience. The manager was shouting at us. Told us to leave his business when we were only trying to get clarity on why we didn’t get the car we paid for. Had to wait an extra day because they didn’t have the vehicle we paid for. He told me to hush he is not speaking with me and has nothing to do with me and he is not talking to me while trying to get us out the store. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.

I had a terrible experience with this car rental company. Despite booking a full-size sedan weeks in advance for a trip with a group of five people, the manager was incredibly unhelpful when I arrived to pick up the car. Instead of the Hyundai Sonata or an equivalent, I was given a Hyundai Elantra which was much smaller and clearly an intermediate car. When I tried to raise my concerns with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, insisting that we take the smaller car or go somewhere else. It was clear that he had no interest in helping us or accommodating our needs, despite the fact that there were SUVs available in the parking lot. I would not recommend this car rental company to anyone and urge others to avoid them at all costs.

Had very good experience. Car is in very good condition like brand new and no hiccups during the drive. Definitely a go to place to rent a car if you are looking in affordable price.

The manager had the audacity to cancel the reservation when I asked for a clean car. Their fleet of cars are dirty and not maintained. Completely horrified after the experience. Never going to any hertz again because of that traumatic event.

I rented a car on Sunday, May 7,2023. The car wasn't clean so had to wait.The worst part is while driving, the car skid multiple times. It was raining but that was not an excuse as i was driving as slow as 35kmph when it happened.I almost escaped an accident. Thanks to the car behind who stopped when they saw the car sliding and going out of control. Luckily I managed to get control of the car.This was not the first time I have faced this with their car.Last year it skid in slight snow.FYI it was the same car/model both times(Hyundai Venue).When informed the branch to check their tires. I was told it's because it's a hatchback car and it could be the rain.Is that an acceptable answer???I have rented the car multiple times and have had good experience. The first time it skid i thought it's just the road and a one time thing but the second time is making me think if i need to rent a car again. Or even if i do, i will definitely have to request another car if given the same car!

Smooth pick up experience and a great car. The branch person was very helpful. I got a little late in returning the car but he kindly accommodated it and did not charge me extra. Would recommend.

Never sent me my closed rental agreement, sent me in circles when trying to get paperwork for insurance, will never rent from hertz again, i recommend enterprise rental to anyone thinking of renting.

Unprofessional , will cancel your reservation in the last minute , very bad customer care they only car about who pay more .. very bad experience will never ever repeat it again
