RBC Royal Bank

Was doing a business deposit and they asked me for my personal bank card to give me change for my cash. Not impressed! If I was not a client then would they not give me the change?and the manager walks around with her nose in the air like she is better than everyone...the other clerks are great especially Marie

Hi all . At approximately 12:00 am I visited the branch of the RBC yesterday (03/09/2019). I asked to talk to a manager . Basically the manager of the branch asked me to do her job. The manager expressed very unprofessional behaviour towards the client by pretending that she tries to help but when I asked her number of particular questions she was not able to respond on them and truly help with the issue(s)! Please be advised that is this particular review is only about the one particular individual (RBC branch manager)! Thanks.

Standing in line , waiting to get to a teller . Two tellers on and management hiding in the office while 5 people have been waiting in line ahead of me for at least 15-20 minutes. Awful customer service.

Brutal service. I had a 5 thousand dollar wire transfer go thru and they would not release it to me. Said I had to wait a cpl days. Ummmmm did I not pay 25 bucks to insure that it was there immediately??? Stupid. They called the cops on me cause I was swearing while talking and had me removed. I then went to a different branch and took all the money out. I then asked my friend who is a banker why this would happen?? He said that the workers get in trouble for the more money they hand out. It's about taking as much as possible and giving very little. Crooks!

I was reluctant to write this, especially I've had such good experiences with Jon Chan in the past, but he has gone downhill as of late. The lack of communication in my most recent dealings with him has caused me and my partner a great deal of stress, and cost us money with nothing to show for it. Jon has not admitted any culpability for his part in this (that is, has not admitted that his lack of communication has been a problem), and keeps pointing the finger at other people (myself, my mother, and our notary). I cannot recommend him to anyone else, please, PLEASE do yourself a favour and deal with someone else, preferably someone who is not at RBC.

The staff were very freindly and attentive of my granddaughter opening a new account. Joseph was great. Explaining everything, answering all her questions and guiding her in a direction that will work best for her at this time.

RBC's phone service is the worst experience for me.i just wanted to inquire about some bank service by phone, but there is only auto answer system and couldn't direct me to any consultant.i tried TD and it is much better. Totally different experience.

I experienced a higher level of professionalism at any branch I went in to, than I encountered when dealing with Vancity credit union. Even the services over the phone makes me feel respected, regardless of how much money is in my account. To me it appears that RBC invested in hiring skilled representatives, then training them to offer a professional image of this top financial institution, and that is a good marketing strategy.
